Gusto kong magpapicture...haha

TOP 10!

Hey! my TOP TEN is BACK! After my last Top Ten list entry was posted few months ago, I can't think of my next top ten. Now, here's my new top 10 of ballers (local) whom I would like to have a picture with someday.

10 - tied are RYAN REYES & LORDY TUGADE

Ryan Reyes is a promising rookie for SLR. Lordy looks like my schoolmate back in high school.

9 - tied for 9th place are DON ALLADO, BONG HAWKINS, & POCH JUINIO

All of them are Alaske players in the late 90's who are very instrumental in the Aces championships.

8 - MIKE CORTEZ

John's teammate back in his Alaska days. I consider him as one of the best pointguard these days.

7 - JJ HELTERBRAND

I haven't approached him yet but I have a friend who loves JJ so much. lol

6 - KELLY WILLIAMS

I find him very humble even if he's a superstar already.

5 - DANNY SEIGLE

The Dynamite is probably one of the best players in the PBA. Who will not want to have a pic with this guy?

4 - ALI PEEK

I used to have a pic with him when he was playin' for the Tigers. Now, I want to have another pic with him in TnT uniform.

3 - RONJAY BUENAFE

This sensational rookie who's beginning to make a name for himself is so approachable. He always smiles on us everytime he sees us in games.

2 - MARK CAGUIOA

I already had a pic with him but that was a group pic in Baguio.

1 - CYRUS BAGUIO

He's my crush! Actually, I am Kim Samson hahaha! :)

MEMORABLE PICS!

After my last entry, I decided to share some of the my most memorable pics.

At no. 6, a pic with kuya Jason wherein I almost slipped. haha. It happened last year, Dec. 8, when we went to Moro for John's birthday.

At no. 5, my pic with Jojo Lastimosa..

At no. 4, is the picture with Alex when we watched Coke game in Lucena.

At no.3, is another picture with Alex Cabagnot..this is the pic where he's wearing shades.

At second spot is our last June 10 after the sorry loss of Coke to SMB.
And to top it all, my pic with JA in Baguio!

Whatta game!

Whatta game!

I dunno how to describe the game last night. It was really one of the Tigers' best game for me this conference. I was right, it would have been better if the PBA put it in the main second coz I'm sure there will be a lot of people who will watch it. Well, anyway..WE STILL WON THAT GAME! Coke is the hottest team now in the PBA! ASI TAULAVA ROCKS! same with RONJAY BUENAFE! He's definitely the steal of this year's draft.

Actually, we're a little late but its okay coz the we came in the first quarter. I was with Esel, Gladys, and Julie Ann. Gladz and Julie Ann were cheerin' for SMB because of Lordy and Wes. However, Gladz was there for Kuya JM. Esel and I were supporting the Tigers. Reasons are quite obvious.

It was John's comeback game after missing games with the Tigers. This is also Asi's fourth game as a Tiger. haha. Though John played 11mins only was still feelin the game. His elbow I think is not fully-recovered yet. However, there was an impressive run involving the Alex, John, and Asi. It came after a rebound, Alex was running the fastbreak, from the backcourt he passed the ball to John for a pitch to Asi. Asi then made a lay-up. Too bad, I wasn't able to record it. :(. But as what John said, he has just come back and there are still a lot of games to come. So watch out for the ARSENAL :).

The refs calling some fouls against the Tigers was really frustrating! They should do better than that. They were like puppet of someone powerful who's running a multinational company. We're like joking that since Christmas is coming, they should perform their job well for a certain team to have a bonus from that businessman. Too bad we gotta see that #8 ref at the Southgate after the second game. I wanted to confront him and asked him "how much he was paid?" Ofcourse I didn't do that! KARMA is the right word for him. Anyway, COKE won already.

The Tigers were down at the start of the fourth quarter but they were able to cut down the lead courtesy of Asi Taulava, Alex Cabagnot, Mark Telan, and super rookie Ronjay Buenafe. Kenneth tied it with a three-pointer. "Wala bang congratulations!" lol. Ang saya talaga. :) Sana laging ganito. I thought the lead was safe already but Magnolia has good 3-point shooters, good thing Alex and Ronjay made their crucial freethrows to keep the game away from the Beverage Masters.

If the crowd was shouting, the whole team was rejoicing! :) Grabeh! it was like they won a championship game. Ang gulo ng mga players..ewan ko lang ang coaching staff! haha. I can't help it..sorry! It was really great to see your team winning against the team who beat you..kuno! last June 10, 2007!

Right after the game, we met John at SG and had some conversation. He thanked me for the chocolate mousse that I gave him last Monday. He was all-smile! Well, I really hope that he's happy. I only wish him the best. GO BIG BRO! :) We also had pics with other players like Kuya Ken, Wesley Gonzales, Enrico Villanueva, and Kuya JM. After that, we went inside again to watch the main game between the Aces and the Express. This time, I was a quiet already. I just cheered everytime Marvin Cruz makes a shot. I saw Gretz there who's supporting the Aces. Obviously, she was very happy coz the Aces won, too.

We just took some pics of Marvin during the game. I posted it in my Multiply account. After that game, its SG once again. There, I had my first pic with my first ever favorite basketball player, Mr. Jojo Lastimosa who still looks very handsome. He's really a HUNK! Ang ganda ng eyes nya, promise! Irresistable!waaaah! I also had pics with Marvin who's so kind. Kumusta naman ang tap sa shoulder, Ecel?wah! Since the opportunity was there, I grabbed the chance to pose with Jeffrey Cariaso, Tony De la Cruz, and Sonny Thoss. And would you believe, I had a pic with no less than, Coach TIM CONE!

What a game! What a night! Though, sumthing happened at the middle of these events, its fine with me. Reality bites! However, its not my loss, it's him! echuuuuuuuussss....

Good news: it's John's comeback game
Achievement: Ronjay and Marvin broke their career high in the PBA..congratulations!
Highlights of the night: My first-ever pic with JOLAS!mwah..:)
Quote of the night: "Wala bang congratulations?" by Kuya Kenneth Duremdes
Biggest Frustration: not having a pic with RONJAY BUENAFE..hopefully, next game meron na!
FIRST-TIME....
Last night, I was so happy coz the Tigers did not only win their third straight game, I had a chance to have a pic with Mr. Jojo Lastimosa, my first-ever favorite basketball player. Dunno what strike me but I really approached him when I saw him walkin in South Gate. He was with his wife, Butchick.

Nakakatuwa kasi bigla kong naalala yung mga times when he was playin and when I was still supporting the Aces. Parang gusto kong maiyak..lol. Those were the days!ika nga. haha. But I'm not closin my doors to them. If John will be playin for them again, why not! I also had a pic with the legendary coach Tim Cone who was so warm and accommodating. I also grabbed the opportunity to strike a pose with Sonny Thoss, Tony de la Cruz, and Jeffrey Cariaso. I really enjoyed last night. Anyway, congrats din sa Aces who won in the main game. Ice, Ecel, Gladz, Julie, Julie Ann, I enjoyed your company. See you again next time. mwah :)
JOHN's BIRTHDAY

John celebrated his 29th birthday last Dec.10..opps! sorry, 28 lang pala. Okay? come on, accept it man! Since it's his birthday, we decided to give him a treat. It was just a simple surprise to make him feel that we haven't forgot his birthday. Imagine, we've been thinkin' about it since August. Though we wanted the other members to join but because it's a Monday and most of them have classes and work, they couldn't join, we still decided to push through with the plan. The original was to surprise him after the practice. We will bring all our gifts there with a chocolate mousse, his favorite and then let him blow his cake while we are singing. Everything seems to be fine until...huhuhu. Okay, here's the whole story. Hannah called me around 8am to check if I'm goin to Moro yesterday. I said that I will but I'll be late since I had to buy something and I know the fact that the practice ends at 12. We just agreed that we'll see each other in Moro. After my shift at 10am, I immediately went to Megamall to buy his cake and at the same time wait for Ice. I think we left Shang around 11:15, however the traffic in the Ortigas area really sucked that time...blame it on those buses.lol. Worse was, traffic was also heavy in Katipunan, damn! I was like Oh my God! Practice was about to end and we're still here in Katipunan, not even inside Ateneo. I was texting Gladys that time who kept on asking where are we and that she saw chubz in Moro, lookin so great!haha. I think we arrived in Moro around 12 and we were walking on the pathways when I saw someone smiling on us. Promise, it didn't register on my mind who's the guy..He was smiling and waving on us. OMG! Then the next person I saw was Hannah. haha! Then, my eyes went forward to see Esel, Gladys, and Roma. So, who was thay guy? Okay, it was John himself! haha. See, I was the one who was surprised coz I didn't think that the practice was over when we arrived. I was really shocked and at the same kinda shocked coz according to the plan, we're the one who's goin to surprise him, and not ME! When I finally recovered, I gave the gifts that his fans sent to me. I gave Yhan's gift first, it was like a collage of small picture that resembles John's image. It was really cute! Ang galing! I also asked him to sign Yhan's pic with him at the airport. He easily remembered the picture and infact said that the pic was taken last year. I just added that it was in Cagayan de Oro City after they played in Lanao. Next was the gift from Pastor sisters..yeah! sisterhood!lol. Hanna sent the gift to me last week. And they are right, John is our MVP!yeaabah! John was so thankful of all the gifts that were given to him. He kept on saying thank you...thank you..thank you, guys! He also said, "Oh, I have a lot of frames." Ofcourse, Ice also gave her somethin. It was the first gift that I gave John actually. John found it very cute!haha. Katuwa yung # 1! Dapat daw kasi #31 un..It has the "world's number one basketball player thing which makes it fit for John.lol. And then its my turn to give my gift. hehe. And then...its the cake thing now! We don't have any lighter that time that's why we didn't light it. John said its okay though. Hannah asked what's the cake that I bought and I whispered "chocolate mousse." She smiled and said that I remember John's favorite cake. John said that it's his favorite cake. Well, enjoy your cake, John! :) haha! Before they leave, I gave him a card. Well, it contains my wish and message for his birthday. I asked him to read it later. Nothing really serious though..haha. Since its John's birthday, I'm really hopin' that he'll have HAPPINESS and PEACE OF MIND..that's all****

Right Love, Wrong Time

Quite sad right now! I feel for a friend who I have learned to appreciate since I first met her. Though we became friends for a short period of time, I can say that I treasure her friendship a lot. She's experiencing some personal problems right now, which I hope will be solved soon. I was kinda shocked when I recieved her text. I was expecting to see her that afternoon however, it didn't happen. I am praying that somehow they can settle eveything. Ofcourse, I want them to be happy.

After reading all of her text messages, I APPRECIATE her more!

This post might raise some eyebrows and might generate some questions. But after posting this, I won't talk about it anymore. I will just continue to support them and hope that everythin' will be allright. Gosh! I miss those days when we both watch games cheerin' for our team. I will surely miss her :-(... Hope to see you again!

the lucena invasion..lol

We arrived in Lucena around 4:15pm and I'm very thankful that the game hasn't started yet. We looked for nice seats that we could occupy coz its gonna be a long night, since we're goin to watch the second game. We finally sat on the seats located at the left side of the Coke team. Kumusta naman! kitang-kitang kami dun. :)

The game started and we begun watching, too. It was really great to see the Tigers playin with high energy! Too bad JA wasn't there. He has to stay in Manila to rehabilitate his injury to be able to play next game...so excited about it! Actually, there are only two reasons why we went to Lucena. First, Ice wanted to see his ultimate crush, Johnny Abarrientos, second, I really believe that the Tigers will win that game, na nangyari naman, and the last one is __________.

The game wasn't exciting if you're a fan of SLR because the Tiger dominated the opposing team. But on a perspective of a Tiger fan, the game is like a great relief! Great in a sense that after 8-straight losses, finally the team got a win. Thanks to the heroics of Asi Taulava and Mark Telan who really played big time for the Tigers. Ofcourse, credit should be given to Kenneth Duremdes, Alex Cabagnot, and the rest of the team for playin well that afternoon. After the game, we went to the exit to check if we can have a pic with the Tigers. I really wanted to have a pic with Kuya Aries, a new addition to the team however, I didn't have any opportunity..so with Kenneth Duremdes. We just smiled to Kuya Jason coz he's with a staff of the team. Good thing, we saw Alex and I asked him for a pic. He's wearing the Coca-Cola Tiger warm-up uniform. He even asked "San bah?" haha. I thanked and congratulated him after, he replied with a smile. After that, we entered again and I just sit and begun texting.

The second game between the Aces and GinKings was very exciting. Though I was busy texting my friends regarding the outcome of the first game, I couldn't help but to look at the game. Mark Caguioa is such a spectacular player! So with JJ Helterbrand. The Quezon Convention Center was rockin' when the Gin Kings bounced back and even took the lead in the fourth quarter..but the Aces stood their ground. Thanks to Mike Cortez' crucial three-pointer in the last minute of the game. I'm not a fan of these teams and players but I salute them for giving the crowd a great game last weekend. Like what the man seating at the back, "sulit yung ticket!"

For me, the exciting second game was just a bonus! Winning the first game was a plus but seeing him and talking to him even for a minute is HEAVEN! I'm the real WINNER, ayt?

We arrived here in Manila at 6am yesterday. We just stayed at the terminal while waiting for a bus to Manila. While waiting, Ice and I just talked about our favorite topic and analyze some things about the game. WaaaaaaaH! This trip was really exciting and memorable. "Seeing and talking to him after a month and 3days is like HEAVEN!" I guess it's obvious now. I'm quite shy. lol.

WPG..lol

"I'm a WPG"....this has been my shoutout for the past week now in VOIM. Ammm...this is an acronym for ...... opps! ofcourse, I won't say it! lol. I'll just keep it to myself coz some people might react.haha! A night before last night, I asked for a sign from God. I was asking for a sign if I will continue this thing* haha, I really prayed when my housemates were sleeping. Fortunately, the sign was given to me. We are both wearing RED on that night! Could it be the sign that I was asking?
Have you seen Richard Gutierrez' newest commercial? haha. Yeah, he's HOT! La lang, I'm not really his fan but I like him when she is being paired with Jewel Mische. They really look good together. Ang pretty ni Jewel..take note: mas maganda pa kay KC!lol. At ang wafu ni Chard!
Feelin helpless!
I dunno what's happening to the Tigers! Five straight losses..so tough! Whoever the culprit is, I don't wanna point my fingers to. Too bad John and his teammates have to suffer. John right now has an injury, he wasn't able to play against SLR because of a sprain. On that game, everything went SHIT! Last night, he played even if he's only 60% okay..talk about heart, leadership, and professionalism there. sigh*** His teammate, Alex Cabagnot also missed the past two games which I think is a key factor why the Tigers lost. Before the game, I went to the chapel with Ice and pray that the Tigers get better. Enough has been said, I might just cry coz I didn't imagine this conference as like this. Though I didn't expect them to be a powerhouse team, atleast I expect that they will perform well with that kind of line-up. But I'm still hopin for the best! And I'm still supporting the Tigers..as long as John is there, there's no reason to change the team...Opps! there's another reason pa pala to stay with the Tigers..hahaha...yeah! my hubby..:-)lol!
Last night was something funny and kakakilig, ayt Ice?haha. At first, we sat on the Upper A during the first game. I think that was the first live game I have ever watch that featured Magnolia (SMB) and Ginebra. Ice wanted to support Johnny Abarrientos, his ultimate crush. At the second half, we went down to Lowerbox located at the back of the goal to have a better view. There, we can see what's happening in the court and at the bench. There, we could see how frustrated big bro with the game. DAMN! I really hate seein him like that. He doesn't deserve it! Also, we saw kuya JM, dressed in civilian clothes,hmmm..kimikilig si Ice.haha. peace gurl! Actually, I didn't want to look at that side coz it brings me so much pain...I hate seeing them down..with blank faces! I hate seeing him dressed in the Coca Cola Tiger shirt and jeans, with a cast! Pagaling ka na kasi! Ofcourse, I don't want him to see me...looking like that on him. He might have a feeling that I pity on him so much. That would not help him to recover! But I know he saw us..he saw us..however, I laughed instead! Kasi since the second half started, dun na xa nakaupo sa side, parang he's hiding pa nga. But after he saw us, he chose to sit in an open space where he's so visible! Un naman! assumming di ba? I felt conscious tuloy kaya I decided to focus on the game even if its a lost game already. Though sometimes I admit, I also looked on his direction. Xempre! I can't help it. lol.

SUPER LATE! grrrrrrr...

This is actually a late posts...hayy..I'm super busy kc that's why I can't posts regularly...sigh**

"Why is it that when I blog..I always have bad and good things to say.sigh*. Coke lost their third straight games in four meetings this conference. It was I guess the worst game that they played in four outings. Everything started well but it ended so badly. The team wasn't able to recover against the rampaging Express. f*ck!

Coke's main pointguard Alex Cabagnot played already, however, he's still feeling the game after missing the first three games. Too bad, his first game was a sorry loss. John on the other hand played, however, he just played for 24 minutes. I dunno what's wrong but I'm beginning to hate someone!! I'm loosing my cool. Based on their games, John is the team's barometer! If JA plays well, the team wins. But with the kind of playing time that John is gettin, how can he gain confidence? Damn! He's not even a starter now? I've read a lot of things about that person and I dont wanna add more insulting words being thrown at him, but if he won't do his job and will continue to bench JA, then...grrr...I couldn't imagine what will I do and say!

Time to cool down...there in Muntinlupa, I met Hannah. Ice and I have already entered the venue when we decided to go the washroom. We're sitting at the upper part of the gym. I was surprise to see her at the washroom and I was even surprised coz she's the one who greeted me first. She remembered my name. wah! I was really touched, promise! She asked where we were sitting and she said that we should go with her at ringside. She even introduced Ronjay Buenafe's girlfriend. I introduced naman Ice..JM's girlfriend..lol.
We went with them to the ringside and since the guards already knew them already, they didn't bother to ask us. hehe. We sat at the back coz there's no available chair in front. Before the game started, she asked a Coke assistant if we could occupy the seats located at the back of the Coke bench. WAH! Oh my God! Then, we moved and I sat beside her. We talked a lot of things..some which I wanna keep private. I found out that I am actually ten days older than her. Like what I've said, she's so warm and friendly. We both cheered for JA during the game and she even took pictures. She took my pic with the Coke mascott...parang bata noh?
As much as I want to share a lot of things about our conversation, however I can't could I respect her privacy. I am happy to know her. I really enjoyed cheerin' for the team with her and Ice. Hope to see her again in games. "

I AM PROUD OF MY FATHER!

WARNING: GET a HANKY!

Fin'lly I am back again! Wah! I miss blogging indeed. Yesterday, I was about to blog something about the weekend, however, I didn't choose coz everything is still fresh in my mind and in my heart. Yesterday, I wanted to put a big note "I WILL BE RICH SOMEDAY!" on my forehead for everyone to see it. And I mean it! Someday, I will be.

However, later on I felt scared coz I'm beginning to loose the real "me." Yes, "me!"...the person who doesn't care a lot about money and power...the person who just want to live a normal life. See? a simple event can turn someone to a monster. Well, I don't want to become a monster..but if some people want me...I can be!

I need to breathe now..I am becoming so bad! I have to fight it! This is not healthy for me...

I AM PROUD OF MY FATHER!
This is one thing I've realized during my short visit in Batangas. Words and tears are not enough to explain how proud I am to have a father like him.

To my father though he won't be able to read it..well he doesn't blog kasi..." I'm sorry coz I wasn't there physically to support you.. I am so proud of you because you fought fairly. There are better things ahead of you and our family. What's important is that we're all united, we're happy, we're ONE HAPPY FAMILY!...I love you, and still you are the most handsome man for me..(sorry John and chubz..)lol..mwah!"

Oh, did I get so emotional? yep! that's the real "me."..an emotional loving daughter.

Before I took a one-day leave in the office, I watched the first two games of the Coca Cola Tigers, one in Cuneta, and the second in Araneta. The team started their campaign in the AFC with a win against Welcoat. Some are questioning their win because during that time, Welcoat's rookie Joe Devance wasn't playin..but who the hell cares..A WIN is STILL a WIN! John was the best player of the game, with 26pts, and 7rebs. Rookie Ronjay Buenafe also played well.

We were able to talk to John and ****** after the game. It's really great to see and talk to John after a long time..well, 5 days is already long for us, Arsenalers ayt?lol. We had picture-taking ofcourse..lol..this day marks the baptism of my camera.

Against Alaska last Friday, Tigers lost. As expected, it was a closed game. Unfortunately, Coke's main pointguard wasn't around to orchestrate the team during the fourth quarter..It would have been better if Alex was there..and that is from the bottom of my heart..echuuuus!Though, we lost that game, Ali showed 2 great dunks! John on the other hand, John missed one...so embarrassing ryt? but I told you, he just smiled very sweetly. Wala kasing bantay eh..asan na nga ba sina Espino and Aquino?lol.

Ofcourse, bantay SG na naman ang drama namin ni Ice. Iniwan nga namin si Rica inside coz she's watching his bf Lordy Tugade..lol. Go Rica! I took a pic of John..well, what else, he's wearing Nike!hehe.

I decided to go home already, however after seeing someone at the Greengate..well, thanks to Jason.lol..I decided to go inside again with Ice and Abby. Unfortunately, I couldn't use my camera. Nakita kasi ng guard sa AC. Shit! There you have it...ill talk more about these games next time. mwah!

MANNY...

It's time to blog again.haha..daming nangyari nitong weekend!hayy..

Let me start with a bang....on this corner...Manny Pacquiao! owkie..Congrats to Manny for winning against Marco Antonio Barrera of Mexico. Once again, you proved how powerful your punch is and how gentlemen Filipinos are. You may not have won by a knockout but still you showed how great a fighter you are. We Filipinos are so proud of you!

And to Kyla, gosh! your rendition of Lupang Hinirang is the best rendition I've heard. You sung it simply but with pure heart! Unlike others...hmmmm..I won't mention their names. Also during the bout, I saw Richard Gutierrez and Chris Tiu. He was wearing an Adidas jacket, just like what DJ Mo wore on his show.

DLSU winning over UE! I know it hurts for UE so much..my heart bleeds for you guys, but it happened already. Actually, naisip ko na to since the outcome of DLSU-ADMU game. Sayang for UE coz they've worked hard. tsssk..tsssk...Be happy na lang sila that they were able to play at the finals. Congrats to DLSU, un lang. lol.

Jervy Cruz won the MVP of the UAAP..okay, next!haha. ang bad..no comment nga eh, di kc ako familiar sa kanya coz I hardly ever watched UST games, pag kalaban lang UP and ADMU. The others who made it to the mythical team are Mark Borboran, JV Casio, Rico Maierhofer, and Chris Tiu. wah..............FEU's JR Cawaling won Rookie of the Year and Edwin Asoro got the Defensive Player of the Year.

Astig ng concert ni Billy Crawford!

PBA also had a preview of 4 different teams. One of them is the Coca Cola Tigers, my favorite team. The coach and some players were interviewed about their preparations for the upcoming season. Yun nga lang, they did not interview ****..kainis! It's always great seeing John on TV and in person..He still looks good with that hairstyle..amm..why not play with that kind of hair?well, I'm sure he'll shave it before their first game..hayy..sayang! In general, I think Coke has a pretty solid line-up this year compared last season. I just hope that John will be in shape as soon as the conference starts. Go the Arsenal! Go Tigers!

Basketball heartthrob Chris Tiu is a new Kapuso!

NOEL FERRER
Basketball heartthrob Chris Tiu is a new Kapuso!

Issue # 1: Chris Tiu in Las Vegas with Pacquiao
Christopher John Alandy-Dy Tiu or Chris Tiu, 23 years old, captain ball and star player of the Ateneo Blue Eagles, a Management Engineering major, an honor student, a budding entrepreneur, SK chairman and occasional model will finally set foot on television for a pioneering primetime television show under the Kapuso Network!

But before anchoring his show whom he topbills with sports icon Manny Pacquiao, he is set to fly to Las Vegas to watch the Pacquiao-Barrera match which will be aired over GMA-7 this Sunday.
This is quite an opportunity for this young achiever who has been presented with a lot of program concepts — and who has finally found something that would fit his multi-tasks as student, basketball player, SK chairman and young businessman.

While the UE Warriors are up against the La Salle Archers in the UAAP basketball championship, the country stops for the Pacquiao-Barrera fight with an Atenean sportsperson in the front row — Chris Tiu — soon to be conquering a new arena — media! Good luck Chris!

i SPEAK:

GMA Executive Annette Gozon-Abrogar and I are about the happiest people with Chris’s entry in media. As a fellow Management Engineering major like Chris, Annette sees Chris Tiu’s excellence in his fields of endeavor as a good inspiration to the youth and to parents who would want their children to be like Chris.

His media stint is a perfect way to affect more people positively. In an interview with Chris in a magazine, he mentioned a very admirable guiding principle. Chris said, "Success should not be seen as an end, but as a means. The more you’ve achieved, the bigger your responsibility to share it to others. For example, if you are a successful businessman, you should use this opportunity to help other people, by being a just boss who pays fair wages and gives benefits. Use your achievements to help other people, so that they in turn could use what they’ve accomplished in the service of more."

Way to go, Chris Tiu! Welcome to our new Kapuso!
GREAT NEWS!waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since I came back from that vacation last last week, I feel more inspired and happier. I dunno what's the reason, but I feel great about this thing. That three-day vacation which I spent it with my family is really a gift for me! Now, I feel excited when I'm talking to my students..I am more relaxed now. I feel renewed..lol. Whatever the reason(s) is or are..could it be him/they..thank you..I love it!
Right now, I am excited already to see my favorite Tigers back in action..PBA will open on the 14th! yipee..I feel so excited..opps, that's an understatement!lol. All of us in Arriba are anticipating what would be the outfit/presentation of our Coca Cola Tigers. haha. Can't wait to see John again..with or without hair..lol, he still ROCKS! Go the Arsenal! Another thing that excites me is the fact that I'll be able to see my friends again, Ecel, Gladz, Ice, and the others..Im not sure if they'll go there all. I also feel excited to see someone I missed so much. I still don't have the courage to say who is he, but definitely, I would say that he's one of the reasons why I'm happy these days.
Before I forget, I just read from PEX that my crush, Chuck Allie of Starstruck has decided to leave showbusiness and continue his studies in Davao. T_T..I'm kind a sad bout this coz I won't be able to see him on TV..but I appreciate his decision. He's right! Education is more important..Showbusiness is just temporary. I just hope that someday, he comes back to prove that he's more talented that his batchmates. For me, still Chuck is the ultimate survivor who has the talent, the brains, the charisma, and the class. wah!
Can't get over with Marimar ang drama ng isa kong roommate..peace Nelly! haha. Did you see the latest Cosmopolitan issue? wah! Marian Rivera looks pretty and classy there! I don't really like her but she deserves all the good reviews about her nowadays. She's really IN!

Coke Pre-season Games

Waaaah!ang tagal kong di nagpost..eto na nga...im posting about Coke preseason games. I posted this in my site for JA but I made some changes..hehe.

Sept. 11 vs. SLR
I anticipated this match because of the pre-season trade between these two teams. Joseph Yeo and Coke's 2009 second round pick were given to SLR for Mark Isip and Cesar Catli. I feel bad coz John won't be playing with Seph anymore. Close pa naman sila since they were teammates for the 2006 Jones Cup. During the game, kaagad silang nag-usap as soon as both teams entered the court. Even after the game, usap pa rin sila with Alex Cabagnot. hayy naku! Tumataas ang kilay ko. Well anyway, good luck to Joseph Yeo! I know there will be games that you'll go up against John coz of your position..pero since it's a career move, go The Ninja! I will still support you even if Realtor ka na. Pero xempre iba pa rin kung teammate ka ni Big Bro. Well, Coke lost the game. Pero, okay lang for me. Ali and John didn't play naman..guess wat? They are both wearing orange.wah! After the game, we approached JA and we had a short talk. Then he said goodbye. We also approached Alex Cabagnot and asked him to sign our pic. Okay! that's all..kung anuman ung ibang details, I wanna keep it to myself. lol.

Sept 14 vs. KT & G (Korea)
The Tigers went up against a Korean team. This time, Ali played. Unfortunately, 6mins na lang yung natitira sa game when me and Ice came. But it's okay coz I got what I wanted. Un naman! ano kaya yun?Secret! Basta..ang saya! Korea won the game.huhu. After the game, I was able to talk to John again. well, I taught him a Korean word, 'bogoshipta" which means "I miss you" haha. And then he said "I'll try to remember that." OMG!Tagalog nga, nahihirapan xa, Korean pa kaya. joke! Nothing much to say, it was a wasted night coz I missed someone..sh*T! i don't like it. Can somebody clone me?lol.

Sept 17 vs. SMB
After two games in The Arena in San Juan, we now moved to Marikina Sports Complex. We were not able to start the game coz we thought it's the second game. Kainis! Me and Ice were expecting that we could watch the whole game but we felt disappointed to hear "Telan" made a basket. 3rd quarter na ung inabutan namin ni Ice, who also accompanied me during Coke's last game. Pero okay lang..ang sarap magcheer!dami kcng tao. Panay nga ang sigaw ko..kakahiya pero pakialam ba nila. I paid for my tix...and I'm happy with what I'm doin'. WAH!It's really great to express what you feel inside. hahaha. Later on after the game, we talked to John and I talagang "talk" yun coz we asked him a lot of questions, ryt Alen? Alen was there, too coz she's interested to see something. Unfortunately, she didn't. lol.

Sept 19 vs. Alaska
I did another ridiculous thing just to watch this game. haha!basta pero its legal noh?still, I'm happy with what happened on that day. Daming kilig moments talaga. We lost that game but the Tigers fought hard..and I can feel that there's something positive happening in the team. Coke played well on the last two games considering the fact that JA didn't play. If JA would have played that game. we would have won it!lol. But ofcourse, we'll reserve it on the AFC. Ang yabang! We might have lost that game, still..it doesn't matter coz someone stole the show from them. wah! I love it when the crowd was going crazy over JA. Kakatuwa talaga! I'll probably make a separate entry for that. Ur the man, big bro!lolAfter the game, we had a chance to talk to Kuya JM and Kuya Ken. Thanks poh for being so accommodating and friendly.

Sept 24 vs. RedBull
I won't be able to watch this game because I'm taking a break from work. It's my time to spend quality time with my family which I miss so badly! It's been a while since I saw them and hug them. It's sad coz I won't be able to see someone who I have learned to appreciate despite other people's criticisms. It's sad that I won't be able to watch the game on Monday considering that John might play...but it's okay. I can still watch during the actual games in Araneta....

I know that everyone is excited already to see John and the Tigers in the coming PBA Cup. I have a good news for you, the PBA is I think bringing back the three-tournament format which means, we'll be able to see JA more.

im a MOVIE ADDICT!kuno

For the past month, I have been a movie addict! yeah, I watch three movies that I don't normally do. Kuripot kasi ako. lol. It all started with Harry Potter and then the local film Ouija. Yep, I watched that movie because of Jolina. I like her a lot. But there are other reasons why I watched this. Though the movie has a lot of other Asean features like yung "sadako" thing, still..I like it. I love the special effects and ofcourse the different climax of the story..ang dami! I especially like the elevator scene of Judy Ann and the scene of Jolens in bed with ...wah!scary talaga. I also want to credit Iza Calzado for a great acting. She is definitely a fine actress who deserves the success she's getting right now. Kudos to the whole cast! This movie is something that all of us should be proud of, whether you are a Kapuso or a Kapamilya! lol.
From a scary film, we go to the super hilarious tandem of Asian superstar Jackie Chan and his favorite sidekick, Chris Tucker..Rush Hour 3. I would say that this is the best Rush Hour movie that I have watched. And why not, it was shot in Paris, not less than the Eiffel Tower. Super ganda nung place and super sarap mamasyal. lol. May favorite scenes? Actually, I have three. First was the "you-me" part where Chris Tucker was talking to a Chinese master whose name is Yu and to his assistant whose name is Mi. Second was during the scene where Jackie Chan and Tucker were forcing a killer to tell the person who wants to kill the ambassador. They even needed the help of a French nun who to interpret the man's words. Hilarious! lastly, I like the scene where Chris Tucker sung "The Closer I Get to You" at the bar. After he finished his lines, the lights went off and then a spotlight was focused on Jackie who sung the following lines "over and over again......"while on a swing...funny indeed. I never thought Jackie would do that. So if you feel sad and you want to laugh, watch this movie!
Just last Saturday, I watched Evan Almighty with my officemates. Yeah, it's a comedy with a touch of drama. Actually, I didn't find it funny if I would compare it with Rush Hour 3. Basically, that's the reason why I didn't enjoy it so much. You see when you watch movies with the same genre after another, you keep on comparing the first one with the second. Honestly, I planned to watch another movie, Nicole Kidman's The Invasion but since we've planned to watch this movie since last month, I gave it a try. My favorite scene happened when "God" played by Morgan Freeman was talking to Evan's wife. It was very touching... One thing that the movie wants to point out is the fact that in a simple way, you can change the world..and that is by giving someone an act of random kindness.. it doesn't have to be great, it can be as simple as giving water to a dog. Next target: The Invasion and Nancy Drew!lol

MWAH!

Thank you for a wonderful time with you.
Thanks for the sweet smile...you made my day!
"Thank you for saving me yesterday in the brink of depression. Thank you for the time that you spent with us though you hardly see us. You really made my day. And for that, you are my angel..you are my savior!"
I never thought that yesterday would be so special. I never expected that it will happen again coz I think it's hard to duplicate the first encounter. But I was wrong, it happened and this one is as special as the first. My thank yous to Ecel and Gladys who convinced me to go with them. If not for them, then probably..I won't be able to experience one of the best days of my life. Luv you guys! thanks a lot.^^

"wat a SURPRISE!"

"I'm sorry if my post is so late..I went to Moro last Monday with my two officemates and we were able to see and talk to John after two months. I wasn't able to watch the PBA drafting last Sunday that's why I decided to drop by in Moro during my break. We arrived there past 11am. The players were doing some scrimmages but JA was not included. We begun searching for him coz there's a lot of players in the gym. Out of nowhere, someone was waiving..and then I found out that it was John. It's really good to see him after a very long time. He was sitting at the sideline, watching his teammates play. The guard told us that we should sit on the other side coz its prohibited to stand near the stairs.
After the practice, we went down and waited for JA. When we saw him coming, we approached him and he immediately said "what a surprise!" with all smile. I told him that we watched the PBA draft telecast on TV and we were all glad to see him...you know wearing a suit, looking so handsome..lol. and with hair of course! He laughed and he asked what time the draft was televised. Also, he mentioned something about the surgery and when he can play again. He said that for now, he's undergoing therapy for his finger..he can't play for the pre-season tournament but he'll be ready for the AFC. He also added that he's taking golf lessons nowadays.
Alen had a chance to talk to him over the phone and I think she'll post soon. She also visited Moro last Wednesday. Before we go, I had a picture with him without a cap. He even said that this pic would be different coz he has hair during the time the pic was taken.haha. When I told him that I would upload it on my Friendster account, he said that if there's a comment, I should tell him. After that, we went back to the office."
this is wat I posted in Arriba today. Ofcourse, there's a lot more to say...and daming side comments..kulang sa emotion..wla pa ung pics namin eh pero post ko agad. I should also note that there were things na naobserved ko during the practice na Ayoko munang ipost..maybe next tym na lang. Basta...happy ako!

it's nice to see you again!

wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
I am so damn happy! For a moment, I was catching my breath, waiting for the camera to focus him..and after a few second..that sweet smile registered on my TV set screen. I immediately screamed when I saw him. Shit! iba talaga ang dating nya. haha. Hay..how many times do I have to say this? but the not-so shocking revelation came in...hindi xa kaldo. haha. Is that Kobe?lol. The truth was, I didn't care who's Coke pick this year..I was just eager to see JOHN ARIGO again. And the moment he went up there, my world stopped!lol
Ngayon ko lang narealize na bagay pala sa kanya ung hairstyle nya. haha. I love it!

going senti...

Last night, nagsenti si Jing. She shared something to me..nakakatuwa naman. Di ko kc akalain na mangyayari yun.lol. Now, it's my turn to be senti. Minsan lang to, trust me. Hindi kc ako ang tipo ng tao na magpapakasenti at dramatic. Wala lang, habang pinakikinggan ko itong song na to ay feel ko lang maluha. Ewan! Though I hate this feeling...SH*T! alangan namang magpakaipokrita ako. I really miss someone...and at the same time, I feel I'm betraying someone din. wah! Hindi ko na alam. I'm really confused. Why do I have to feel this way? Di ko tuloy maenjoy yung feeling when I recieved a message from an old friend. sigh...
PS...
hehe..UP Maroons played a while ago. They lost against FEU. Ang cute talaga ni Mike Gamboa. haha. Sorry Jill! and astig talaga c Woody Co. Sana mag-improve pa cna Migs de Asis. Go Martin Reyes! my fav Maroon.lol.

Sa aking opinyon...lol

I want to blog a lot of things for today...pero since ang dami kong ginagawa, heto na lang muna.

Letran-San Beda game. Letran won the game courtesy of Rey Guevarra's crucial points in the dying seconds of the game. Ammm....I'm happy that finally, San Beda has lost a game. It's not that I'm a Bedan hater, I juz wanna make NCAA games become more exciting and enticing to watch. Since San Beda is beatable, the other teams would think there's a possibility that their team can beat the Sam Ekwe-led Red Lions. Also, my friend Ecel likes Rey Guevarra..sorry sis, ibinuko kita. I haven't seen him play..but I know he's a good dunker. He's the one who edged out JC Intal in the PBL.
Ateneo-De la Salle game. The Blue Eagles won that very exciting courtesy of Jai Reyes' heroics and Chris Tiu's three-point shot in the last seconds of the overtime. I was with my bestfriend when I watched this game and it was really one hell of a game. How I wish, that's UPMBT game?lol. JV Casio single-handedly carried the Archers but in the end, but it wasn't enough. There was a protest that was going right now against the outcome of that game. DLSU was saying that there was a point wherein ADMU fielded in two foreign players which is a violation, ofcourse ADMU denied it. With ADMU's win on that game, HAPPY ako. Not that I'm an Ateneo fan..lol. I think Ateneo really deserves that win because they didn't give up even if DLSU was catching up on them. The kind of Chris Tiu's character that he showed on that game was really awesome. Same with Ford Arao and Jai Reyes..If they're continue to play this way, they'll have a good shot at the championship again which they missed last year.

Team Pilipinas vs. Iran. Team Pilipinas lost this game. A very important game.Yet, they lost. Based on what I have observed during the game, the players were so pressured. As in sobrang pressured because that was their first game in a very important competition that can make or break the country's chance to make it to the Olympics. They were really having problems with their shots and even their freethrows. God! But Coach Chot's technical foul was really unnecessary. During that time, Iran was just leading by a point and then he committed that sh*t!He should have keep his mouth tight. For me, okay lang sanang matalo ung team dahil sa players since they're the one playing pero yung matalo dahil sa coach ay hindi katanggap-tanggap.

to be traded?

"Totoo kaya ang aming tsika na plano raw ng Coca-Cola Tigers i-trade si John Arigo? Pero paano kaya iyon? Ang alam nami’y nasa RTL ng team si Arigo.
Teka, hindi kaya inalis na ng Coke sa RTL itong si Arigo at pinalitan na ng iba?
Maitanong nga kay Mar. John Baylon."
yUP! this is what Alen has texted me last night. And my reaction: a big "Wat!" It can be a simple reply..but in my heart. It tells a lot. Hay...here we ago again. Kahit ayokong isipin na apektado ako ng nabasa kong ito, still..napakaipokrita ko naman para sabihing hindi. I've been very vocal in supporting JA..and rumor like really affects me. Ofcourse, I only want the best for my favorite player and if he'll have it in another team, why not? Gusto kong magchampion ang team nya and feeling ko hindi yun mangyayari sa Coke in 2 years. Hanggang andun ang mga pets, malabong mangyari ang bagay na yun. Ofcourse, I've learned to love the whole team but if I have to make a decision again like what happened in 2004..okay lang. Yun nga lang, cguro mas mahihirapan akong tanggapin ngayon 'to. I don't wanna give the reasons for now..Bahala na! Sabi nga ni Gladys, be positive. One thing is sure, if the team traded JA, then I'll support him 100%. Period!

"The face I came to know is missing too"

yup..I discovered a new ste again. It's really cute and funny. Check it out here..www.us.cyworld.com. Btw, this is my site...
nga pala, I'v echanged the music here in my site. "when you're gone" by avril lavigne..ammm..well, i just miss someone!la lang..I haven't seen him for quite sometime. I really miss him na. sigh..I want to see his smile again..lol. actually miss ko rin ung mannerisms nya. basta! hopefully, next month makita ko ulet xa. Damn! what's happening to me? Shit!
here's the lyrics of this song...
I always needed time on my own
I never thought I'd need you there when I cry
And the days feel like years when I'm alone
And the bed where you lie is made up on your side
When you walk away
I count the steps that you take
Do you see how much I need you right now?

When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
The words I need to hear to always get me through the day
And make it OK I miss you

I haven't felt this way before
Everything that I do reminds me of you
And the clothes you left are lyin' on the floor
And they smell just like you I love the things that you do
When you walk away I count the steps that you take
Do you see how much I need you right now?

When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
The words I need to hear to always get me through the day
And make it OK I miss you

Out here forever I know we were Oh oh oh oh oh
All I ever wanted was for you to know
Everything I do I give my heart and soul
I can hardly breathe
I need to feel you here with me Yeah

When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
The words I need to hear to always get me through the day
And make it OK I miss you

CONGRATULATIONS!

Harry Potter..etc.

I guess everyone is waiting already for the release of the Harry Potter book 7!Oh yeah, and that includes me..even if Im not a Potter fan. lol. Well, I juz want to know the end of this JK Rowling masterpiece. But before that, I watched the movie Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix with my bestfriend, Tere, yesterday. YuP! It was her birthday last Monday and since I don't have gift, I decided to just treat her. I know she will value it more considering that we won't just watch a movie..we will talk also. You know, my bestfriend is undergoing tough times right now, I want to be there as much as possible..be someone who will listen to her.

We ate first before we went inside the theater. Dami naming pinag-usapan..about her problem..sh*t talaga ung ex nya. When I see him in person, I want to kick his ass! Wala syang kwenta and he's not man enough to stand on his own. Ang laki2x nyang tao pero wala pala syang disposisyon. My bestfriend is still lucky coz she did not end up with that sh*t! My bestfriend got brains and beauty, she deserves someone better than him. I'm sure of that..

Ang tindi ng poot di ba? I just feel I need to say that..sigh* well anyway, we also talked about our classmates back in high schools, we found out that some of them are married already. La lang..It's nice to know that they have settled already...raising their own children and building their own family.weh! Well, for me and Bes, we're happy with our lives right now. We still enjoy being single and ofcourse our independence!

Nga pala, we also talked about the youtube video of Alex Cabagnot and his bro..lol. Bes also saw it and she was laughing when I opened that topic. Sabi nya, natural lang daw na hindi umamin si Alex about dun sa video..remember, when I asked him about the video, he juz said "di kaya." wahaha. Basta juz watch this video from youtube and you'll find out how funny is it. One thing is for sure, Alex can dance!wah!ang cute promise! I love it.lol.

So there, watch na kami ng movie..Here we go Harry!lol. If you compare it with Harry Potter 4, for me they are just the same. Both are sad! coz Harry's friend again died on this movie.sigh..Cedric did in HP4..huhu..and this time..no spoiler please..watch nyo na lang. Also, in terms of special effects, I like the scene where Professor Dumbledore and Voldemort fought against each other.

I also like when Harry and the rest of Dumbledore Army are training secretly..Ron made me laugh effortlessly! My favorite scene? this one..need to say more? KARMA!lol.

That's it. Next time, we'll watch Oujia, for a change..local and scary flick naman.

on UAAP & Marvin cruz!

I saw part of the UP-DLSU game last Saturday and I was sad about the game. Sad, with the way the team played! I really don't expect them to win that game. DLSU is a strong team this year and they really beefed up their line-up with the entry of those..ewan! basta..I already expected a loss for that game since the team is composed of mainly sophomores and rookies. Obviously, there is no chemistry between the players yet. They are just starting to play with each other though they have played in other previous tournaments already. During the game, I saw some familiar faces for the DLSU side. Mac Cardona was there, so with Coke's Joseph Yeo. Talagang may Coke noh?haha..I just miss them so much.sigh..I just don't know if he will still be wearing the Tiger uniform next season. After Seph, they also focused Marvin Cruz. Wah! Gosh! I miss seeing him in UP uniform. He's really a big loss to UP. despite criticisms from fellow UPians, UP will definitely miss Marvin's daredevil moves and leadership inside the court. "Tingnan lang natin kung mapapantayan ng mga new recruits ni Lipa ang naibigay ni Marvin ni UPMBT." Do I sound bitter for Marvin? Nope! I sound bitter for the UPMBT. The rookie pointguards should have learned something from Marvin's experience but they did not consider this. It's actually a gain for Marvin on the other hand. Imagine, he can now play for the big league where he can prove what he's really made of. Though there are doubts on his ability to claim fame in the pro league because of his height, still, there will always be a room for a good pointguard like him. This coming Aug.19, I will be watching the annual draft in Market2 to see what team would draft him. I only have wish though, I hope that he will play along side with John and **** so that it wouldn't be so hard to cheer for him. Siguro naman malalapitan ko na xa on that day because wala nang frustrating game like what happened last June 10, 2007.hehe. And for the UPMBT, keep on improving guys! Keep the Maroon Pride higher!U

my new plan..

Two many things had happened these past days..the friendster issue in the office, death of my uncle, PBB Big Night, etc..too many! The past days have been full of anger and loneliness which until now live in my heart. When will I smile again? Smiling in its purest sense..

Half of the year has passed and just last week, I've made an important decision in my life..nope, Im not getting married!lol. How can I do that, I don't even have a boyfriend..well, atleast he doesn't know. haha. I've decided to study again; I'll take up MA in Creative Writing. I already inquired in UPD and the staff told me to call again in December. I'm so excited about it coz I really love writing, and someday, I want to publish all my works. I'll be a successful writer.

UPD is just near ADMU. I can always go to Moro and watch my favorite team, the Tigers. Speaking of the Tigers, I miss them so much. I miss watching their games, win or loose. They are still the best team for me. I can't wait to see them all back in action next conference.

By the way, I decided to put a little spice on my blog. I got this idea from Maria Sharapova's website. If you visit her official site, she has this Top Ten List of anything...which is really entertaining and funny. I decided to adopt that here in my site. For my first Top Ten List, since I love basketball, I decided to list down the 10 most handsome PBA players for me. Well, some of you might agree or disagree with me but since this is my blog..just respect my opinion..lol. if you want, make your own list and publish it online..PEACE!

Watch out who made it in my list..lol

hmmmmm...

Im still shocked when I heard that thing from a friend. Though, I have been thinking the possibility of it, Im still convincing myself that it may not be true. As much as possible, I don't want to comment coz it's their personal lives..I just hope, they'll be fine and solve whatever problems they have. I can only hope...

Me too, I also have my own share of problems. Despite all of these shortcomings, I'm trying my best to cope with them and solve them in my own little way. I don't want this post to be sad..Infact, I want to it to be happy and full of love. Yeap! I'm inlove! And I'm so proud of it. I forgot when was the last time I confessed that I'm ******, kelan nga ba yun? Years ago?wah! I didn't know how it happened...just met him on the day of my birthday..though I didn't had a chance to talk to him. After that, it's all magic! Probably, some of my friends know about this already..for the past month, I've been texting with them and we have been talking about him. Hay..guys, thanks a lot, Alen and Esel. Guys, I told you..Im serious about this. hahaha. See, I even put our pic in my wallet which I don't normally do...

Who's the lucky guy?Hmmm..I'll just keep it to myself. Ibalato nyo na lang sa kin 'to..please.
This morning, I was surfing the net and I found this from members.aol.com/GRGRNI/inLove.html:

"Do you think about the person during the day ?
How many times do you just happen to think of "just a friend" like that ?

When you see things happen around you ---
Do you ever wish you could be with that person doing the same thing(s) ?
How many times do you just happen to think of "just a friend" like that ?

Are there times during the day you just all of a sudden think of that person ?
Has that ever happened to you ?
How many times do you just happen to think of "just a friend" like that?

Do you ever watch a movie or tv show and think of that person ?
Does a person just happen to think of "just a friend" like that?

Do you ever think of the person at night when you go to bed, or dream of them,
or wake up in the morning thinking about them ?
Ordinally, does a person just happen to think of "just a friend" like that?"

Do you ever feel hurt when they feel hurt - cry when they cry ?
Does a person just happen to feel those feelings for "just a friend" ?

Do you ever feel a warmth inside when you talk to each other and/or
Does your heart ever go pitter patter when you talk to each other ?
Does a person just happen to feel those feelings for "just a friend" ?

Rubz, tagged me..and she said that I need to list down 10 weird things about me. So, here's my list.

1. I don't eat spaghetti, pizza, and other foods with sauce.
2. I like war movies like Behind Enemy Lines and Enemy at the Gates.
3. I hate romantic films coz I'm not a romantic person.
4. I'm a frustrated writer who wants to publish my stories someday.
5. I'm very passionate about basketball.
6. I watch WWF especially if Batista and John Cena fight. My all-time favorite wrestler is Bret "The Hitman" Hart.

10. I don't go out a lot. I don't spent too much. But I'm not "close."

"Di KayA"

After two days, I think I can write something already about what happened last Wednesday. wah! That night..could be the worst and at the same time the best night in my night this conference. Why?hmmmmmm...I will admit na talagang second quarter pa lang nawalan na ko ng gana sa game. Bkit naman hindi? John had an injury in the second quarter..a sprained right ankle. We talked to him at SG shortly because he has to leave early and ofcourse take a rest. According to his text, he needs to rest for a week and he'll be fine. He was sorry to leave early that night. But we understand him coz during that time he can't walk well. Ali was the one who brought him home. According to him, he was supposed to ride with Alex Cabagnot. He even asked us if we saw Alex and then we told him that we haven't seen his teammate yet. Ali even waived on us before leaving. Hay..ang sweet talaga ni Man Mountain..lol.

After that, me, Esel, Roma, Jason, & Benedict went to the green gate. We had a little conversation there while waiting for someone. Cno kaya un?hmmmm..and then we saw Alex Cabagnot in Starbucks. Kaya naman pala...then when he went outside, we approached him and asked him to sign his pictures. He really looked at the picture and he said that he looks very tires on the other one. Well, he had a point there. Then about the other one, he asked which game it was taken. I told him it was during the Coke-SMB game in San Juan Gym. When I gave him the pics, I was shocked when he asked if he can sign the pics on my shoulder. Kumusta naman? Gawin bang table ang balikat ko.haha. But to tell you the truth, kinilig ako. wahaha. Di lang pala ako..pati cna Esel and Roma. And take note, I asked him to sign 2 pictures.I should have given him more pics..joke! I was just happy coz finally, I have spoken with him and I found out that he's really a nice guy...just what JA told me. But it did not stop from there. I asked for a picture with me and then a solo pic. I told him that he had this video in youtube with his brother who's singing and playign a guitar..and then he said "Di Kaya." Expression nya ata un! haha. La lang, I find it funny and at the same time cute and childish..weh! Ewan ko ba, basta it suddenly came out of my mouth, I asked him "how's life with Coke?" and then I forgot his answer. parang inulit lang nya ung question ko and then he laughed. But according to Esel, he answered my question..ewan! lutang lang talaga ako.lol.

So that's why my Sunday night was mixed with happiness and sadness. Hay..

Get well soon to John! thanks to Jason for the pics...to Esel, Roma, I had a great time with you..hope to see you again, to Benedict, nice meeting you, bro..and to Alex, good luck on the next game..I love your "di kaya" expression..ung expression lang..lol.

another reason to smile..

There is this guy who's beginning to catch my attention...actually, nakuha na nya ang attention ko. Ewan ko ba, he's super cute kc..though he's a little chubby. It's my first time to have a crush on a chubby guy coz most of the time, I appreciate tall men. At first, I don't want him because of what I heard about him..bad record..but sum1 was right...give him the benefit of the doubt. E di bigyan, malakas ka sa akin eh...lol. Nowadays, this guy is giving me another reason to smile. But of course, I know my limits and he will just be my second priority.

Coke vs. SLR!

I watched Coke game against the SLR. JA didn't play that much but he did a great job spoiling Kelly Williams. Great defense! Actually, it was a show by Duremdes, Calimag and Alex Cabagnot. Yeah! they played very well against their former team. They were playing like what JA and Ali were doing against the Aces. La lang..maybe they just want to prove something.. There memorable scenes in that games that I want to share..First, the assist made by Cabagnot to Varem. Geez...he made it again like last last game. Sayang, hindi lang inabutan ng video. Second, the Cabagnot-Miranda duel...hehe..esel read this. Alex was holding the ball and then he took and made a shot! however, he fell to the court and nilinis lang naman nya ung floor..hehe. The refs did not call any foul so he run and faced Denoc. While, Denoc was dribbling, he was like shouting "come on, shoot the ball" OHHHHHHH...I smell something..well, I guess, it'sjust normal. Finally, during the last minute of the fourth quarter, Alex went out and Pacana entered. We were like clapping to show appreciation for Alex performance. He then shook hands with his teammates..and then hugged JA. Ang swit! Parang gusto kong makuha seeing them. Parang close na talga cla. In JA's entire carreer, I only saw him hugging Ali and Alex is the second one. I hope their chemistry on court will continue to blossom for the team's sake. Naalala ko na naman what JA had told me during my birthday that we should support Alex, too. Kumusta naman, big bro!

I'm happy na rin that JA is with the Tigers now..imagine, he's still playing with Ali and then Kenneth, his former teammate in Aces. Isn't it great to see a Coca Cola Tigers-Alaska Aces championship. I'm sure, it would be full of emotions and feelings. Sa akin na lang eh, feeling ko maiiyak ako when that thing happens. I will be very emotional because all the memories will be coming back. And with a great pointguard like Alex, winning is not impossible.

wristband..prince..dirk..chiz!

(last last week pa to after the election)
I'm back to doom!Well, it means Im back here in the office with all the "negas" and all. Ofcourse, there are also positive things to be happy..like seeing my morning officemates. Well, morning lang although there are few in the afternoon. Again, "FEW." I think this entry will be long coz I have a lot of things to talk about. Yeah, a lot!
Let's start everything with the game last Sunday. Actually, I was with my bestfriend, Tere when I watched the game. JA gave us tix as always. Bait talaga ni Mr. Nike. As early as 1pm, we're already in AC but we stayed first in MsDonalds. You know, I missed my bestfriend so much that's why as much as possible I wanted to hear her stories and also shared the happenings in my life. After that, around 2:30pm, I decided to check if JA has already arrived in SG. Too bad, JA went inside already. Sayang, I was planning pa naman to give some words of encouragement for the game. They will go up against Aces and I know that its a very important game. Sayang talaga! Since it's still early to enter AC and more importantly, we don't have tix yet, we went to KFC and had another set of chikahan. Around 3:40, we went to green gate and waited for the tix.
The game was about to start when we got inside. Gosh! we'll occupy the front part na naman. We might get seen on tv because we're fronting the camera. I hate this feeling! Then the game started..the Aces led most of the game. But I don't really care about that. I was more concerned with JA who had a mild sprain before the half ended. How many times do I have to say that I don't wanna see him down on the floor nursing an injury and worst, no foul called against the culprit! Ref, DO YOUR JOB!During the half, a lot of my friends were asking me how's JA, but I can't give info because there were no updates in the venue. They gave updates on TV of course. Then the players entered the court again and I saw JA walking. Atleast it's a good sign that he can walk. I even doubted when I saw him just sitting rather than practicing. But after some seconds, he picked up the ball and took a shot! Good sign I said to myself. Then the game started again and JA played. I was really impressed because even if I knew that he had an injury, he was still playing defense against Willie Miller. Then my friend texted me and she said that according to report JA had a mild sprain and he said that small things like this cannot stop him from doing his job! I was a bit relieved because atleast it's just a mild injury. One more thing, I was so proud of him because he's so professional.
As the third quarter ends, again, we felt uneasy because Ja was holding his hamstring. OMG! that was what he's holding during the BGK game. Ano ba yan! JA went to the bench and took a rest. By fourth quarter, game was still on the Aces side, that's why we're still nervous. Eto pang c Varem, parang very hesitant. Hay..kumusta naman. But towards the 6 minute mark, the Tigers rallied back. It all started with Will's tree-pointer. And then Ali and Varem controlled the rebounds. It was also the time, Alex Cabagnot hit some treys. Basta..I'm so damn happy! The feeling was so overwelming and I begun thinking that we would have won the Air21 game if Alex was there. Then the big shot came. John was holding the ball against Willie and then he immediately passed the ball to Alex who have a better position to pass the ball to Varem. And the result was a powerful SUPER SLAM! Damn! ASTIG talaga! We were like "WHAT!" All of us were standing and shouting for that dunk. Grabeh! Kahit ata BGK fans napasigaw when they saw that dunk. He also made the freethrow that brought back the lead to 4. After that sequence, Alaska made a basket and they put pressure on Coke. But Coke has nothing to worry coz the ARSENAL was there to save the day for us. Right John? When it was Aces' turn to shoot again, Alex stole the ball from Miller and made a basket. That basket sealed the victory for us.
After the game, I told my friends, good thing that we don't use our voice while voting or else I couldn't vote the following day.
In SG, we had the chance to see Kenneth Duremdes. We just smiled and he also smiled on us. When Ja came out, we talked to him and then I asked him about the injury. He said that he's doing well and it's just a mild injury and he just had crumps during the third quarter. He also told me a lot of things..sorry..I can't mention all of them. But trust me, JA is fine. One thing that I hated that night was those kids asking things from JA. They always do that. Grrrrrrr....But that night was destined to mine..lol. When he was about to say goodbye, we had a handshake and he handed his armband to my hand. OMG! hahaha! It was really a nice gift. It was still wet because that was the armband that he used in the game.

When they left, we waited for another player. Again, I won't mention his name. Some of my closest friends in Arriba know him. This is to hide his identity.lol. But then again, when I thought that he's gone already, it was the time that I saw him. What do you call that? Is it destiny? lol. That night, on our way to green gate, we saw Joeyoe with his friends. Then we also saw Alex Cabagnot. I wanted to have his autograph but I don't have a paper. What I only had during that time is the book, The Little Prince. So what I did was I got my pen and let him signed at the last page of the book. I couldn't forget my little prince..oh should I say "chubby" prince..wahaha.

Finally, everything is confirmed already. Dirk is the NBA MVP for this season. You deserve it man. Although, Dallas did not make it to the next round, still Dirk is the MVP for me. Kaya nga, may regular season MVP and Finals MVP eh. I don't know why there are people making a big fuzz about it. They're just insecure! I know, Dallas will bounce back next year. The past two years have been painful for them and I think they will have these as their motivation. Go DIRK! GO MAVS! Sayang tuloy coz I can't wear my Nowitzki jersey.lol.

Last May 14, I voted for the second time. yeah! and I to tell you frankly, I voted only one senator. Yup, that's not a joke! I have been vocal about him and I truly believe that he deserves my vote. I believe in his principles and I'm so damn proud of him because he's not an administration's pet. These days, his ranking only falls under 1 & 2. Well, I don't really expect him to top the election but if GOD will give it to him, I think that's a blessing. Kakatuwa lang coz I know his wife is pregnant..twin daw. WOW! ang saya nun! Blessing talaga. Imagine, one of the topnotchers in the election and a father-to be to a twin. Congrats CHIZ!

JA in BAGUIO

The Allstar teams stayed in Camp John Hay throughout the event. According to John, his roommate was Mick Pennissi of RedBull Barako who participated in the Shooting Stars in La Union. During our first visit, it was evident that JA was really tired. Still, he met us in the hotel's lobby for some conversation. There, Angelie finally met John and able to talk to him. He was wearing a Nike sneakers, jeans, (finally saw him wearing jeans..lol) and ofcourse his Flight jacket..opps..not to forget his earing on his left ear. He really looks good in that outfit even if he's tired. We talked a lot of things there..the game, the event, the gymnasium (peace!), his teammates..etc. Til we talked about this very critical issue that I would like to keep to myself. Basta, whatever happens, we'll CHOOSE JA! We also talked about the tree that he planted in La Union and other activities where he participated. He said that it was really tiring because there's a lot of activities and ofcourse the trip was so long. Imagine, they left for La Union last Wednesday..they had a game last Tuesday pa pala..kumusta naman. But Im sure he had fun! Ofcourse we took pictures with him. Xempre, I wore the jersey that I bought and gosH! he remembered that it was the jersey that I asked him to sign last year. He even hold it..waaaaaaaa..and looked for his signature. I also asked him to sign the shirt that we bought in the gym. I even told him that he would be the only player to sign that shirt coz he's the real Allstar for me. Hay..I was really sleepy during that time that's why I couldn't think of better words to say.lol. Then picture taking na..wahahha..The next morning, we went again to Camp John Hay to give his "pasalubong" to ate Kara. He couldn't go down like other players that's we just bought him some foods. At the front of the hotel, we saw him seating, we approached him and he asked us about our hotel. Then, Mark Caguioa joined and chatted with us. He even joked around about their _o_c_ hahaha..Nice one Mark! I admit I thought he's really mayabang but he's not. Infact, he's so cool!hhaha. We even had pictures with him and John. Sayang! kc Jayjay would have joined with us but he's talking to Kelly Williams. After few minutes, Mark left and another familiar player went to the hotel. It was Jay Washington. To my delight, I thought that ih JWash was there, there's a possibility that other sophs were there too including Chubz..lol. Guess nyo na lang un.hehe. Then, OMG! he's there nga.waaaaaaaaa..I wanna faint! and guess what he's approaching JA. Basta, I felt cold and just............ EWAN! Few minutes past, and JA had to leave na. She rode on the North bus. Xa lang player dun. Haha. Kakatuwa lang kc he has a lot of space to sleep in..But before he said goodble, he thanked us and I told him "see you tomorrow in Moro." Esel and some other friends will be visiting him there again.Actually, Allstars in Baguio was a mixed of happiness and sadness for me. Happiness, coz I wan't able to go to Baguio for the first time, I conquerred my fear, I was able to see and support Mr. Nike, saw Chubz, meet Angelie...BUT...sadness, because I discovered a lot of things why I should support him more. The things I saw were kind a saddening but in spite of these, I realized that JA's such a REAL person. I love him for that! wah!

ALLSTARS in BAGUIO

That Allstars Baguio experience was really great! I was very thankful to my officemates that they push me to go to Baguio and watch the game there. Thanks a lot girls! and ofcourse to my parents who allowed me to visit the place and support JA! There's nothign special than going to a certain place with permission coming from your parents. Kumbaga, ang sarap sa loob na umalis ka..hindi tumakas!

We arrived in Baguio around 2pm and Angelie, my Arriba pal met us there in the terminal. We went directly to UB to make sure that we can get tickets. Still, we had to wait for JA before the game to get Jason's tix and ofcourse to say hello na rin to him. We waited outside for 30 minutes or more. We saw some players from the South first like Thoss, Hontiveros, and even Mick Pennissi. We also saw Coach Jong and his son. Then, finally, the North bus arrived and we're excited to see JA.Xempre, he's the reason why we're there noh.I stood and looked starting from the driver but I did not saw John. Until at the very end seat of the bus where he was seating. I immediately waived and he recognized us. He smiled on us..OMG! He was wearing his big headset again. Since there were a lot of people lined up in front of us, we had a hard time seeing him but he approached and gave the ticket to Jason. Nagtaka tuloy ung ibang andun kung bkit may iniabot na tix c JA sa kanya.lol. After that, me and Angelie went inside using the other entrance and Jason's went in through the EXIT because his tix was for the stage.

The players were introduced starting with the South Team. Their entry was really COOL! Ang saya! Jimmy Alapag was so cool doing some dance moves..even ronald tubid did some taktak..haha..also Sonny Thoss who seems to be very shy also did. Pati cna Danny Seigle, Asi taulava, Daddy James (lol), Roger Yap, Don2, and others. But for me, the one who stole the show was Tony dela Cruz..he was really funny! Even John was laughing when he saw that dance move later in the game.

Kung gaano kasaya ung entry ng South, the North entry was kind a BORING! They just introduced the names of the players and awarded everyone a medal. hay..kung wala lang talga dun c JA naku...What's great is that the North bench is near us. We really shouted and cheered for John even if I don't really expect a lot of minutes in the court. I have this feeling kc.. He got 4pts in the second quarter..in the second half..he did not pay or should I say..HE was not asked to play! but it's okay...as long as JA is there, no one can stop us from cheering. What's great was there were a lot of people shouting his name and asking for his autograph. It only means that he has a lot of fans in Baguio..not only girls but men...real men!

The game was pretty exciting because at first the South team was leading by as much as 20pts and yet the North made a move in the second quarter and eventually won the game. Jayjay Helterbrand and Willie Miller won the MVP. Should I say, it should have been Jayjay only, right Rubz? haha. Bkit nga kaya? I was there I witnessed everything..pero I really feel that Jayjay should have won it alone. Kung may makakatie man sya, dapat si Kirby! After the game, the trophy was awarded and immediately JA went outside coz the court. Xempre, I was just wondering if he gave his armband..When will I have that armband? D bale, naybe next time, I can have the courage to ask his armband. Outside the gym, we met Jason and he told us that JA told him that he'll meet us in Camp JOHN Hay. So we immediately rode on a taxi to go there. It's a good thing Angie was with us..She knows the place well. We waited at the lobby til we found out that they're occupying the rooms on the other side, so dumaan kami sa back king saan we saw Coach Cone and her wife. We sat for a while and then JA came...(our conversation with him will be included in another entry). After that, we had to go down and look for a hotel. Then, we ate in Chowking before we slept. Ofcourse, there were also chikahan..dami, I couldn't remember all..but some of them are personal and better to be kept.

In the morning, we had breakfast and we also went to the market to but pasalubong. Hay..and daming fuds! kakagutom. I bought some pasalubong for my parents, friends and officemates. Then, we went to Burnham Park to relax and take some pictures. Then, Jason and Angelie went back to the market to buy John something for Ate Kara. So sweet! After that, we went back to Camp JOHN Hay to give him his pasalubong. We left the hotel after JA left , but before he left I told him that we'll visit Moro tomorrow since it's holiday. Then, we had lunch in SM Baguio and then went home. I arrived in Manila around 1130pm. It was tiring but it was a great experience! GRABEH!
