Congratulations KHJ!

Photobucket

Congratulations to Kim Hyun Joong for winning the Male Popularity Award in the recent MBC Drama Awards. ^_____^ Han Hyo Joo got the Female Popularity Award.

He was also nominated in the excellence in acting award and Best Couple Award together with Jung So Min. With these achievements, I feel so proud of Hyun Joongie. Imagine, Playful Kiss made him more famous not only in Asia but also in other parts of the world. Obviously, he's very popular. Regarding his acting, he is still improving and he's dedicated to act better in his next drama next year.

His acceptance was very short yet SWEET.

"To the fans who voted, thank you. The popularity award is given to me by the fans hence this honour is dedicated to them. " (from Renee)

GO Azkals!

Although it's a late cheer, I still want to express my support for the Azkals! Wooot! Congratulations guys! You made the Philippines proud! What you have achieved only proves that Filipinos can excel also in the field of football.

Even though, you were not able to bring the crown of the Suzuki Cup, you still made the whole country proud. It also opened more opportunities for kids and athletes to continue and aspire to excel in football. It also opened the eyes of the government and other people that we can also succeed in this sport given proper training and support (financially, kekeke).

As a basketball enthusiast for the past ten years, I felt bored of basketball. And seeing the Azkals play motivated me to go back and be interested in sports again. And guess who's my fav player in the team? Hahahaha.

That I will reveal in the coming days... LOL
Clue? He is kinda reserved...

A.N.YANG goes A.N. Jell

Last December 18, we had our Christmas Party in VOIM. It was fun although the party started late. Imagine, we're late for two hours. We're supposed to start around 10AM, unfortunately, it was already 12 noon when we started everything. Nevertheless, it was still FUN!

As a team leader, it was very tiring because we had to plan and make sure everything was set before the party. However, there were still problems. SIGH! Well, atleast we enjoyed and we had fun with the awards, food, and singing, etc. I was happy na rin coz I saw that my members had fun singing and dancing throughout the whole party.

We picked the A.N.Jell style as our theme for the said party. We even sang Park Shin Hye's "Lovely Day." It's one of the songs in the original sound track of South Korean hit TV series, You're Beautiful starring Jang Guen Seuk, Lee Hongki, Jung Yonghwa, and Park Shin Hye. It was so much fun memorizing the Korean lyrics... wooooooh! In fairness, I'm so proud of my members because they're so talented! Mhelody played the keyboard, Elma played the guitar, and Rush did the beatbox.

According to TM Rhem, we placed fourth. Haha. Atleast, fourth. We're already happy coz we already won two first prize for the team competition for Oct and Nov. Let's give chance to others naman. Although it would be great to win, however, I think we've achieved a lot already. So, it's okay with us.

Here are some of the pictures that I had with my teammates and friends during the Christmas party.

I Love HyunMin Couple!

I dunno what hit me but I'm still until the HyunMin spell. I'm a big fan of Kim Hyun Joong and although I watched Playful Kiss because of him, I can honestly say that his pairing with Jung So Min caught my attention. They really look good together. Behind-the-scenes of Playful Kiss show that these two have develop a great relationship. KHJ had been paired with other women in different TV shows, CFs, etc, but I felt something between him and So Min. Their chemistry is AMAZING!

Take a look at my favorite couple.

There's a Place For Us by Carrie Underwood

I supeeeeeeeeer love this song from the movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I love its message and lyrics. Such a masterpiece!

Lyrics:
There's a place out there for us
More than just a prayer or anything we ever dreamed of.
So if you feel like giving up
Cause you don't fit in down here
Fear is crashing in close your eyes and take my hand.

We can be the kings and queens of anything if we believe.
It's written in the stars that shine above
A world where you and I belong
Where faith and love will keep us strong
Exactly who we are is just enough
Yes there's a place for us there's a place for us.

When the water meets the sky
Where your heart is free and hope comes back to life
Where these broken hands are whole again
We will find what we've been waiting for
We were made for so much more

We can be the kings and queens of anything if we believe.
It's written in the stars that shine above
A world where you and I belong
Where faith and love will keep us strong
Exactly who we are is just enough
Yes there's a place for us
Now there's a place for us

So hold on now hold on
There's a place for us

We can be the kings and queens of anything if we believe.
It's written in the stars that shine above
A world where you and I belong
Where faith and love will keep us strong
Exactly who we are is just enough
Exactly who we are is just enough
There's a place for us

Halloween....the ANYANG way!

Photobucket

I realized that I haven't blogged lately. Oh poor me, I'm so busy that I can't write anything here anymore. Hopefully, I can find time this coming 2011 to write more entries. This blog has been around for quite sometime and it's a special place where I share the real me.

Today, I want to share some pics and account of our success in the competition for Halloween. Mah gosh, Halloween? Would you believe it? LOL. I'm bloggin about Halloween considering it's December already? Well, this shows how BUSY I am. Tssk tssk.

Well, last November, we had this competition at the office. Each team needs to choose their theme and wear costumes related to it. Our team chose to wear costumes of different movie characters like Angelina Jolie's Evelyn Salt and Lara Croft. It was purely for fun since we didn't want to put any make up or wear weird costumes. And besides, choosing a theme is such a headache.

Here are some of the pictures that we took during that event. Congrats guys! You ROCK!

Dirk Nowitzki passes Larry Bird on all-time scoring list

Dirk Nowitzki was on the Mavericks' bus to the Orlando airport when his phone vibrated and he saw the text from Larry Legend.

It was a congratulatory message from Larry Bird, the man Nowitzki passed on Tuesday night for 25th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

"That's pretty cool,'' Nowitzki said.

Pretty cool, indeed. Bird has been a fan of Nowitzki's throughout his career and Nowitzki said he feels privileged and humbled by passing Bird. He's also not going to spend too much time thinking about it.

"It's obviously an unbelievable accomplishment to be in the top 25 scorers in this amazing league with so many amazing players,'' Nowitzki said. "But it's going to mean more to me when my career's done. When I'm 15 or 20 years from now, I can look back and it's something I'll be proud of. But as of now, I'm still chasing the dream and trying to win a championship. But it'll be a sweet one in 20 years.''

Nowitzki also said that the Mavericks have plenty to be proud of, not only for sweeping Florida on a quick trip, but also for their 10-1 road record.

"Two great teams down here, but we're more focused on the road, more together on the road and we showed it the last two nights,'' he said.

This is what I like about this player. He is such a humble person!
Congratulations to Dirk!

Jung So Min updates her Cyworld Account

Today, I was very angry with the result of Yahoo Buzz Awards. I still can't accept that someone won because of autoclickers ....but okay, lets hand them the "Yahoo autoclicker Awards!" and the "Yahoo Buzz Cheater awards." Hahaha.

Good thing, Min Min posted some very NICE pictures on her Cyworld. ^^ Gah! She really misses her husband, LOL. Well, anybody can speculate why she posted those pictures, I have my own, and other fans have their own!

I'm posting the pics that So Min posted on her Cyworld last Dec. 7. ^^

YAHOO BUZZ!! THIS IS FOR YOU!

Manifesto For A Credible & Respectable Awards

i
2 Votes
Quantcast

BY CONCERNED FANS

Published by hyunniespexers.wordpress.com

Sunday, December 5, 2010

(Please repost/ disseminate this manifesto to as many blogs, forums and fan sites that cares)

On December 9 ,2010 the Yahoo Buzz Award winners will be announced amidst the twin controversy surrounding the suspected means by which votes by the millions were received by a nominee in the last few days of November versus another nominee whose votes were accumulated over 50 days. The suspected means of delivering the million votes was through the use of automatic voting program discovered in some fan sites complete with instructions .

The other controversy was the slowdown or semi- paralysis of the Yahoo website preventing fans of other nominees to continue voting for them . This unfortunate incident has led to speculation that the website was hacked. Many fans complained of frustration over said incident .

Analysis of voting trends further reveal glaring irregularities .

These controversies spread like wildfire in blogs and forums on the internet and generated voluminous fan comments and reactions ranging from the rational, emotional, to the offensive and defensive as well.

Many fans were shocked, saddened and angered with the turn of event specially those who honestly and with due diligence voted for their idols days and nights spread over weeks. Their efforts and sacrifices to honor their well loved celebrities it seemed have gone for naught only because of a few fans’ resorting to devious, illegal and unscrupulous means to bring in votes. The abuse of technology has reared its ugly head once again .

There is agreement that awards are good. Awards bestow prestige and is considered a reward for achievements. It is the mark of reaching the pinnacle of success specially in the entertainment industry. The Yahoo Buzz Award though it is based on popularity through online searches or what Yahoo calls buzz is a recognition of interest, approval, being well liked and widely admired celebrity. However , celebrities in order to win the award must be voted through Yahoo’s rules : manually clicking on the designated portals. But this was not what happened towards the last few days of November, specifically on the eve of November 28 up to November 30, the last day to vote.

A LEGITIMATE PROCESS OF WINNING THE CONTEST AND PLAYING BY SAME RULES

Sadly, not all are playing by the same rules. Many fans followed the rules and voted religiously, but a few cheated. It didn’t take long for many to realize the integrity of the voting had been compromised and therefore will lead to the awards itself becoming highly questionable.

The blame has been laid on Yahoo‘s door because it is the sponsor and the one which conducted the voting at the same time. It is Yahoo’s responsibility to ensure that everybody play with the same rules . Yahoo should have instituted the safeguards in the first place. It has become an insult to the honest fans that they are also lumped with the few fans that cheated. The idol who had obtained millions of votes when half of the world was sleeping has become the target of hate and ridicule. He is likewise encouraged not to accept the award (s) if only to show he himself is against cheating of any sort .

Violations will and can be repeated If Yahoo does not do something substantive.

Many fans who were disappointed over these violations unless corrected or lapses cured, find their future participation at such promotion futile and useless . Fortunately , there are concerned and indignant fans who did not stand idly; they filed their complaints to Yahoo Korea. But Yahoo Korea only explained the slowdown of voting but not the surge of million votes for a certain celebrity. Yahoo also extended the voting and searches , but the illicit million votes remained. How can the human fingers compete with what the automatic voting program had already accomplished by the millions?

The issue at hand is not a matter of questioning the celebrity’s right to win but the manner of winning . Would a celebrity accept prestige although it is tarnished? Or would a celebrity choose to stand on moral grounds and set a good example?

We , fans are proud when our idols win awards. After all, as true fans we have only the best interest of our idols at heart . We would not do anything to harm and destroy the years of hard work , perseverance and good image of our favorite celebrities. We have become fans to support their work, cheer them on and celebrate when they win well deserved awards and not because of spurious means.

We totally object to the use of any method of sabotage, illicit mechanisms and underground methods of winning. We strongly believe the end should not and never be an excuse to use any means.

Innocent bystanders may question our sanity, after all, this is just a poll and for them, a nitty matter. But as concerned fans and individuals, we should not tolerate the crooked society we are in. Being righteous, sometimes is difficult, but is always a necessity.

We strongly believe we want our favorite celebrities to stay on higher moral grounds so that they can always hold their heads up in dignity and self respect and no award can be tempting enough to diminish those aspirations .

TO THIS END, WE CONCERNED FANS SHOULD ACT TOGETHER IN SOLIDARITY TO DEMAND THE TOTAL CLEAN UP OF THE VOTING RECENTLY CONDUCTED BY YAHOO AND ONLY THEN CAN THE RIGHTFUL WINNER BE PROCLAIMED IN DECEMBER 17,2010 IN HONGKONG .

ONLY THROUGH THIS PATH CAN THE AWARDS BE TRULY CREDIBLE AND RESPECTABLE. OUR IDOLS DESERVE NO LESS.

Sincerely anticipating.
