Gusto kong magpapicture...haha

TOP 10!

Hey! my TOP TEN is BACK! After my last Top Ten list entry was posted few months ago, I can't think of my next top ten. Now, here's my new top 10 of ballers (local) whom I would like to have a picture with someday.

10 - tied are RYAN REYES & LORDY TUGADE

Ryan Reyes is a promising rookie for SLR. Lordy looks like my schoolmate back in high school.

9 - tied for 9th place are DON ALLADO, BONG HAWKINS, & POCH JUINIO

All of them are Alaske players in the late 90's who are very instrumental in the Aces championships.

8 - MIKE CORTEZ

John's teammate back in his Alaska days. I consider him as one of the best pointguard these days.

7 - JJ HELTERBRAND

I haven't approached him yet but I have a friend who loves JJ so much. lol

6 - KELLY WILLIAMS

I find him very humble even if he's a superstar already.

5 - DANNY SEIGLE

The Dynamite is probably one of the best players in the PBA. Who will not want to have a pic with this guy?

4 - ALI PEEK

I used to have a pic with him when he was playin' for the Tigers. Now, I want to have another pic with him in TnT uniform.

3 - RONJAY BUENAFE

This sensational rookie who's beginning to make a name for himself is so approachable. He always smiles on us everytime he sees us in games.

2 - MARK CAGUIOA

I already had a pic with him but that was a group pic in Baguio.

1 - CYRUS BAGUIO

He's my crush! Actually, I am Kim Samson hahaha! :)

MEMORABLE PICS!

After my last entry, I decided to share some of the my most memorable pics.

At no. 6, a pic with kuya Jason wherein I almost slipped. haha. It happened last year, Dec. 8, when we went to Moro for John's birthday.

At no. 5, my pic with Jojo Lastimosa..

At no. 4, is the picture with Alex when we watched Coke game in Lucena.

At no.3, is another picture with Alex Cabagnot..this is the pic where he's wearing shades.

At second spot is our last June 10 after the sorry loss of Coke to SMB.
And to top it all, my pic with JA in Baguio!

Whatta game!

Whatta game!

I dunno how to describe the game last night. It was really one of the Tigers' best game for me this conference. I was right, it would have been better if the PBA put it in the main second coz I'm sure there will be a lot of people who will watch it. Well, anyway..WE STILL WON THAT GAME! Coke is the hottest team now in the PBA! ASI TAULAVA ROCKS! same with RONJAY BUENAFE! He's definitely the steal of this year's draft.

Actually, we're a little late but its okay coz the we came in the first quarter. I was with Esel, Gladys, and Julie Ann. Gladz and Julie Ann were cheerin' for SMB because of Lordy and Wes. However, Gladz was there for Kuya JM. Esel and I were supporting the Tigers. Reasons are quite obvious.

It was John's comeback game after missing games with the Tigers. This is also Asi's fourth game as a Tiger. haha. Though John played 11mins only was still feelin the game. His elbow I think is not fully-recovered yet. However, there was an impressive run involving the Alex, John, and Asi. It came after a rebound, Alex was running the fastbreak, from the backcourt he passed the ball to John for a pitch to Asi. Asi then made a lay-up. Too bad, I wasn't able to record it. :(. But as what John said, he has just come back and there are still a lot of games to come. So watch out for the ARSENAL :).

The refs calling some fouls against the Tigers was really frustrating! They should do better than that. They were like puppet of someone powerful who's running a multinational company. We're like joking that since Christmas is coming, they should perform their job well for a certain team to have a bonus from that businessman. Too bad we gotta see that #8 ref at the Southgate after the second game. I wanted to confront him and asked him "how much he was paid?" Ofcourse I didn't do that! KARMA is the right word for him. Anyway, COKE won already.

The Tigers were down at the start of the fourth quarter but they were able to cut down the lead courtesy of Asi Taulava, Alex Cabagnot, Mark Telan, and super rookie Ronjay Buenafe. Kenneth tied it with a three-pointer. "Wala bang congratulations!" lol. Ang saya talaga. :) Sana laging ganito. I thought the lead was safe already but Magnolia has good 3-point shooters, good thing Alex and Ronjay made their crucial freethrows to keep the game away from the Beverage Masters.

If the crowd was shouting, the whole team was rejoicing! :) Grabeh! it was like they won a championship game. Ang gulo ng mga players..ewan ko lang ang coaching staff! haha. I can't help it..sorry! It was really great to see your team winning against the team who beat you..kuno! last June 10, 2007!

Right after the game, we met John at SG and had some conversation. He thanked me for the chocolate mousse that I gave him last Monday. He was all-smile! Well, I really hope that he's happy. I only wish him the best. GO BIG BRO! :) We also had pics with other players like Kuya Ken, Wesley Gonzales, Enrico Villanueva, and Kuya JM. After that, we went inside again to watch the main game between the Aces and the Express. This time, I was a quiet already. I just cheered everytime Marvin Cruz makes a shot. I saw Gretz there who's supporting the Aces. Obviously, she was very happy coz the Aces won, too.

We just took some pics of Marvin during the game. I posted it in my Multiply account. After that game, its SG once again. There, I had my first pic with my first ever favorite basketball player, Mr. Jojo Lastimosa who still looks very handsome. He's really a HUNK! Ang ganda ng eyes nya, promise! Irresistable!waaaah! I also had pics with Marvin who's so kind. Kumusta naman ang tap sa shoulder, Ecel?wah! Since the opportunity was there, I grabbed the chance to pose with Jeffrey Cariaso, Tony De la Cruz, and Sonny Thoss. And would you believe, I had a pic with no less than, Coach TIM CONE!

What a game! What a night! Though, sumthing happened at the middle of these events, its fine with me. Reality bites! However, its not my loss, it's him! echuuuuuuuussss....

Good news: it's John's comeback game
Achievement: Ronjay and Marvin broke their career high in the PBA..congratulations!
Highlights of the night: My first-ever pic with JOLAS!mwah..:)
Quote of the night: "Wala bang congratulations?" by Kuya Kenneth Duremdes
Biggest Frustration: not having a pic with RONJAY BUENAFE..hopefully, next game meron na!
FIRST-TIME....
Last night, I was so happy coz the Tigers did not only win their third straight game, I had a chance to have a pic with Mr. Jojo Lastimosa, my first-ever favorite basketball player. Dunno what strike me but I really approached him when I saw him walkin in South Gate. He was with his wife, Butchick.

Nakakatuwa kasi bigla kong naalala yung mga times when he was playin and when I was still supporting the Aces. Parang gusto kong maiyak..lol. Those were the days!ika nga. haha. But I'm not closin my doors to them. If John will be playin for them again, why not! I also had a pic with the legendary coach Tim Cone who was so warm and accommodating. I also grabbed the opportunity to strike a pose with Sonny Thoss, Tony de la Cruz, and Jeffrey Cariaso. I really enjoyed last night. Anyway, congrats din sa Aces who won in the main game. Ice, Ecel, Gladz, Julie, Julie Ann, I enjoyed your company. See you again next time. mwah :)
JOHN's BIRTHDAY

John celebrated his 29th birthday last Dec.10..opps! sorry, 28 lang pala. Okay? come on, accept it man! Since it's his birthday, we decided to give him a treat. It was just a simple surprise to make him feel that we haven't forgot his birthday. Imagine, we've been thinkin' about it since August. Though we wanted the other members to join but because it's a Monday and most of them have classes and work, they couldn't join, we still decided to push through with the plan. The original was to surprise him after the practice. We will bring all our gifts there with a chocolate mousse, his favorite and then let him blow his cake while we are singing. Everything seems to be fine until...huhuhu. Okay, here's the whole story. Hannah called me around 8am to check if I'm goin to Moro yesterday. I said that I will but I'll be late since I had to buy something and I know the fact that the practice ends at 12. We just agreed that we'll see each other in Moro. After my shift at 10am, I immediately went to Megamall to buy his cake and at the same time wait for Ice. I think we left Shang around 11:15, however the traffic in the Ortigas area really sucked that time...blame it on those buses.lol. Worse was, traffic was also heavy in Katipunan, damn! I was like Oh my God! Practice was about to end and we're still here in Katipunan, not even inside Ateneo. I was texting Gladys that time who kept on asking where are we and that she saw chubz in Moro, lookin so great!haha. I think we arrived in Moro around 12 and we were walking on the pathways when I saw someone smiling on us. Promise, it didn't register on my mind who's the guy..He was smiling and waving on us. OMG! Then the next person I saw was Hannah. haha! Then, my eyes went forward to see Esel, Gladys, and Roma. So, who was thay guy? Okay, it was John himself! haha. See, I was the one who was surprised coz I didn't think that the practice was over when we arrived. I was really shocked and at the same kinda shocked coz according to the plan, we're the one who's goin to surprise him, and not ME! When I finally recovered, I gave the gifts that his fans sent to me. I gave Yhan's gift first, it was like a collage of small picture that resembles John's image. It was really cute! Ang galing! I also asked him to sign Yhan's pic with him at the airport. He easily remembered the picture and infact said that the pic was taken last year. I just added that it was in Cagayan de Oro City after they played in Lanao. Next was the gift from Pastor sisters..yeah! sisterhood!lol. Hanna sent the gift to me last week. And they are right, John is our MVP!yeaabah! John was so thankful of all the gifts that were given to him. He kept on saying thank you...thank you..thank you, guys! He also said, "Oh, I have a lot of frames." Ofcourse, Ice also gave her somethin. It was the first gift that I gave John actually. John found it very cute!haha. Katuwa yung # 1! Dapat daw kasi #31 un..It has the "world's number one basketball player thing which makes it fit for John.lol. And then its my turn to give my gift. hehe. And then...its the cake thing now! We don't have any lighter that time that's why we didn't light it. John said its okay though. Hannah asked what's the cake that I bought and I whispered "chocolate mousse." She smiled and said that I remember John's favorite cake. John said that it's his favorite cake. Well, enjoy your cake, John! :) haha! Before they leave, I gave him a card. Well, it contains my wish and message for his birthday. I asked him to read it later. Nothing really serious though..haha. Since its John's birthday, I'm really hopin' that he'll have HAPPINESS and PEACE OF MIND..that's all****

Right Love, Wrong Time

Quite sad right now! I feel for a friend who I have learned to appreciate since I first met her. Though we became friends for a short period of time, I can say that I treasure her friendship a lot. She's experiencing some personal problems right now, which I hope will be solved soon. I was kinda shocked when I recieved her text. I was expecting to see her that afternoon however, it didn't happen. I am praying that somehow they can settle eveything. Ofcourse, I want them to be happy.

After reading all of her text messages, I APPRECIATE her more!

This post might raise some eyebrows and might generate some questions. But after posting this, I won't talk about it anymore. I will just continue to support them and hope that everythin' will be allright. Gosh! I miss those days when we both watch games cheerin' for our team. I will surely miss her :-(... Hope to see you again!

the lucena invasion..lol

We arrived in Lucena around 4:15pm and I'm very thankful that the game hasn't started yet. We looked for nice seats that we could occupy coz its gonna be a long night, since we're goin to watch the second game. We finally sat on the seats located at the left side of the Coke team. Kumusta naman! kitang-kitang kami dun. :)

The game started and we begun watching, too. It was really great to see the Tigers playin with high energy! Too bad JA wasn't there. He has to stay in Manila to rehabilitate his injury to be able to play next game...so excited about it! Actually, there are only two reasons why we went to Lucena. First, Ice wanted to see his ultimate crush, Johnny Abarrientos, second, I really believe that the Tigers will win that game, na nangyari naman, and the last one is __________.

The game wasn't exciting if you're a fan of SLR because the Tiger dominated the opposing team. But on a perspective of a Tiger fan, the game is like a great relief! Great in a sense that after 8-straight losses, finally the team got a win. Thanks to the heroics of Asi Taulava and Mark Telan who really played big time for the Tigers. Ofcourse, credit should be given to Kenneth Duremdes, Alex Cabagnot, and the rest of the team for playin well that afternoon. After the game, we went to the exit to check if we can have a pic with the Tigers. I really wanted to have a pic with Kuya Aries, a new addition to the team however, I didn't have any opportunity..so with Kenneth Duremdes. We just smiled to Kuya Jason coz he's with a staff of the team. Good thing, we saw Alex and I asked him for a pic. He's wearing the Coca-Cola Tiger warm-up uniform. He even asked "San bah?" haha. I thanked and congratulated him after, he replied with a smile. After that, we entered again and I just sit and begun texting.

The second game between the Aces and GinKings was very exciting. Though I was busy texting my friends regarding the outcome of the first game, I couldn't help but to look at the game. Mark Caguioa is such a spectacular player! So with JJ Helterbrand. The Quezon Convention Center was rockin' when the Gin Kings bounced back and even took the lead in the fourth quarter..but the Aces stood their ground. Thanks to Mike Cortez' crucial three-pointer in the last minute of the game. I'm not a fan of these teams and players but I salute them for giving the crowd a great game last weekend. Like what the man seating at the back, "sulit yung ticket!"

For me, the exciting second game was just a bonus! Winning the first game was a plus but seeing him and talking to him even for a minute is HEAVEN! I'm the real WINNER, ayt?

We arrived here in Manila at 6am yesterday. We just stayed at the terminal while waiting for a bus to Manila. While waiting, Ice and I just talked about our favorite topic and analyze some things about the game. WaaaaaaaH! This trip was really exciting and memorable. "Seeing and talking to him after a month and 3days is like HEAVEN!" I guess it's obvious now. I'm quite shy. lol.
