I AM PROUD OF MY FATHER!

WARNING: GET a HANKY!

Fin'lly I am back again! Wah! I miss blogging indeed. Yesterday, I was about to blog something about the weekend, however, I didn't choose coz everything is still fresh in my mind and in my heart. Yesterday, I wanted to put a big note "I WILL BE RICH SOMEDAY!" on my forehead for everyone to see it. And I mean it! Someday, I will be.

However, later on I felt scared coz I'm beginning to loose the real "me." Yes, "me!"...the person who doesn't care a lot about money and power...the person who just want to live a normal life. See? a simple event can turn someone to a monster. Well, I don't want to become a monster..but if some people want me...I can be!

I need to breathe now..I am becoming so bad! I have to fight it! This is not healthy for me...

I AM PROUD OF MY FATHER!
This is one thing I've realized during my short visit in Batangas. Words and tears are not enough to explain how proud I am to have a father like him.

To my father though he won't be able to read it..well he doesn't blog kasi..." I'm sorry coz I wasn't there physically to support you.. I am so proud of you because you fought fairly. There are better things ahead of you and our family. What's important is that we're all united, we're happy, we're ONE HAPPY FAMILY!...I love you, and still you are the most handsome man for me..(sorry John and chubz..)lol..mwah!"

Oh, did I get so emotional? yep! that's the real "me."..an emotional loving daughter.

Before I took a one-day leave in the office, I watched the first two games of the Coca Cola Tigers, one in Cuneta, and the second in Araneta. The team started their campaign in the AFC with a win against Welcoat. Some are questioning their win because during that time, Welcoat's rookie Joe Devance wasn't playin..but who the hell cares..A WIN is STILL a WIN! John was the best player of the game, with 26pts, and 7rebs. Rookie Ronjay Buenafe also played well.

We were able to talk to John and ****** after the game. It's really great to see and talk to John after a long time..well, 5 days is already long for us, Arsenalers ayt?lol. We had picture-taking ofcourse..lol..this day marks the baptism of my camera.

Against Alaska last Friday, Tigers lost. As expected, it was a closed game. Unfortunately, Coke's main pointguard wasn't around to orchestrate the team during the fourth quarter..It would have been better if Alex was there..and that is from the bottom of my heart..echuuuus!Though, we lost that game, Ali showed 2 great dunks! John on the other hand, John missed one...so embarrassing ryt? but I told you, he just smiled very sweetly. Wala kasing bantay eh..asan na nga ba sina Espino and Aquino?lol.

Ofcourse, bantay SG na naman ang drama namin ni Ice. Iniwan nga namin si Rica inside coz she's watching his bf Lordy Tugade..lol. Go Rica! I took a pic of John..well, what else, he's wearing Nike!hehe.

I decided to go home already, however after seeing someone at the Greengate..well, thanks to Jason.lol..I decided to go inside again with Ice and Abby. Unfortunately, I couldn't use my camera. Nakita kasi ng guard sa AC. Shit! There you have it...ill talk more about these games next time. mwah!

MANNY...

It's time to blog again.haha..daming nangyari nitong weekend!hayy..

Let me start with a bang....on this corner...Manny Pacquiao! owkie..Congrats to Manny for winning against Marco Antonio Barrera of Mexico. Once again, you proved how powerful your punch is and how gentlemen Filipinos are. You may not have won by a knockout but still you showed how great a fighter you are. We Filipinos are so proud of you!

And to Kyla, gosh! your rendition of Lupang Hinirang is the best rendition I've heard. You sung it simply but with pure heart! Unlike others...hmmmm..I won't mention their names. Also during the bout, I saw Richard Gutierrez and Chris Tiu. He was wearing an Adidas jacket, just like what DJ Mo wore on his show.

DLSU winning over UE! I know it hurts for UE so much..my heart bleeds for you guys, but it happened already. Actually, naisip ko na to since the outcome of DLSU-ADMU game. Sayang for UE coz they've worked hard. tsssk..tsssk...Be happy na lang sila that they were able to play at the finals. Congrats to DLSU, un lang. lol.

Jervy Cruz won the MVP of the UAAP..okay, next!haha. ang bad..no comment nga eh, di kc ako familiar sa kanya coz I hardly ever watched UST games, pag kalaban lang UP and ADMU. The others who made it to the mythical team are Mark Borboran, JV Casio, Rico Maierhofer, and Chris Tiu. wah..............FEU's JR Cawaling won Rookie of the Year and Edwin Asoro got the Defensive Player of the Year.

Astig ng concert ni Billy Crawford!

PBA also had a preview of 4 different teams. One of them is the Coca Cola Tigers, my favorite team. The coach and some players were interviewed about their preparations for the upcoming season. Yun nga lang, they did not interview ****..kainis! It's always great seeing John on TV and in person..He still looks good with that hairstyle..amm..why not play with that kind of hair?well, I'm sure he'll shave it before their first game..hayy..sayang! In general, I think Coke has a pretty solid line-up this year compared last season. I just hope that John will be in shape as soon as the conference starts. Go the Arsenal! Go Tigers!

Basketball heartthrob Chris Tiu is a new Kapuso!

NOEL FERRER
Basketball heartthrob Chris Tiu is a new Kapuso!

Issue # 1: Chris Tiu in Las Vegas with Pacquiao
Christopher John Alandy-Dy Tiu or Chris Tiu, 23 years old, captain ball and star player of the Ateneo Blue Eagles, a Management Engineering major, an honor student, a budding entrepreneur, SK chairman and occasional model will finally set foot on television for a pioneering primetime television show under the Kapuso Network!

But before anchoring his show whom he topbills with sports icon Manny Pacquiao, he is set to fly to Las Vegas to watch the Pacquiao-Barrera match which will be aired over GMA-7 this Sunday.
This is quite an opportunity for this young achiever who has been presented with a lot of program concepts — and who has finally found something that would fit his multi-tasks as student, basketball player, SK chairman and young businessman.

While the UE Warriors are up against the La Salle Archers in the UAAP basketball championship, the country stops for the Pacquiao-Barrera fight with an Atenean sportsperson in the front row — Chris Tiu — soon to be conquering a new arena — media! Good luck Chris!

i SPEAK:

GMA Executive Annette Gozon-Abrogar and I are about the happiest people with Chris’s entry in media. As a fellow Management Engineering major like Chris, Annette sees Chris Tiu’s excellence in his fields of endeavor as a good inspiration to the youth and to parents who would want their children to be like Chris.

His media stint is a perfect way to affect more people positively. In an interview with Chris in a magazine, he mentioned a very admirable guiding principle. Chris said, "Success should not be seen as an end, but as a means. The more you’ve achieved, the bigger your responsibility to share it to others. For example, if you are a successful businessman, you should use this opportunity to help other people, by being a just boss who pays fair wages and gives benefits. Use your achievements to help other people, so that they in turn could use what they’ve accomplished in the service of more."

Way to go, Chris Tiu! Welcome to our new Kapuso!
GREAT NEWS!waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since I came back from that vacation last last week, I feel more inspired and happier. I dunno what's the reason, but I feel great about this thing. That three-day vacation which I spent it with my family is really a gift for me! Now, I feel excited when I'm talking to my students..I am more relaxed now. I feel renewed..lol. Whatever the reason(s) is or are..could it be him/they..thank you..I love it!
Right now, I am excited already to see my favorite Tigers back in action..PBA will open on the 14th! yipee..I feel so excited..opps, that's an understatement!lol. All of us in Arriba are anticipating what would be the outfit/presentation of our Coca Cola Tigers. haha. Can't wait to see John again..with or without hair..lol, he still ROCKS! Go the Arsenal! Another thing that excites me is the fact that I'll be able to see my friends again, Ecel, Gladz, Ice, and the others..Im not sure if they'll go there all. I also feel excited to see someone I missed so much. I still don't have the courage to say who is he, but definitely, I would say that he's one of the reasons why I'm happy these days.
Before I forget, I just read from PEX that my crush, Chuck Allie of Starstruck has decided to leave showbusiness and continue his studies in Davao. T_T..I'm kind a sad bout this coz I won't be able to see him on TV..but I appreciate his decision. He's right! Education is more important..Showbusiness is just temporary. I just hope that someday, he comes back to prove that he's more talented that his batchmates. For me, still Chuck is the ultimate survivor who has the talent, the brains, the charisma, and the class. wah!
Can't get over with Marimar ang drama ng isa kong roommate..peace Nelly! haha. Did you see the latest Cosmopolitan issue? wah! Marian Rivera looks pretty and classy there! I don't really like her but she deserves all the good reviews about her nowadays. She's really IN!

Coke Pre-season Games

Waaaah!ang tagal kong di nagpost..eto na nga...im posting about Coke preseason games. I posted this in my site for JA but I made some changes..hehe.

Sept. 11 vs. SLR
I anticipated this match because of the pre-season trade between these two teams. Joseph Yeo and Coke's 2009 second round pick were given to SLR for Mark Isip and Cesar Catli. I feel bad coz John won't be playing with Seph anymore. Close pa naman sila since they were teammates for the 2006 Jones Cup. During the game, kaagad silang nag-usap as soon as both teams entered the court. Even after the game, usap pa rin sila with Alex Cabagnot. hayy naku! Tumataas ang kilay ko. Well anyway, good luck to Joseph Yeo! I know there will be games that you'll go up against John coz of your position..pero since it's a career move, go The Ninja! I will still support you even if Realtor ka na. Pero xempre iba pa rin kung teammate ka ni Big Bro. Well, Coke lost the game. Pero, okay lang for me. Ali and John didn't play naman..guess wat? They are both wearing orange.wah! After the game, we approached JA and we had a short talk. Then he said goodbye. We also approached Alex Cabagnot and asked him to sign our pic. Okay! that's all..kung anuman ung ibang details, I wanna keep it to myself. lol.

Sept 14 vs. KT & G (Korea)
The Tigers went up against a Korean team. This time, Ali played. Unfortunately, 6mins na lang yung natitira sa game when me and Ice came. But it's okay coz I got what I wanted. Un naman! ano kaya yun?Secret! Basta..ang saya! Korea won the game.huhu. After the game, I was able to talk to John again. well, I taught him a Korean word, 'bogoshipta" which means "I miss you" haha. And then he said "I'll try to remember that." OMG!Tagalog nga, nahihirapan xa, Korean pa kaya. joke! Nothing much to say, it was a wasted night coz I missed someone..sh*T! i don't like it. Can somebody clone me?lol.

Sept 17 vs. SMB
After two games in The Arena in San Juan, we now moved to Marikina Sports Complex. We were not able to start the game coz we thought it's the second game. Kainis! Me and Ice were expecting that we could watch the whole game but we felt disappointed to hear "Telan" made a basket. 3rd quarter na ung inabutan namin ni Ice, who also accompanied me during Coke's last game. Pero okay lang..ang sarap magcheer!dami kcng tao. Panay nga ang sigaw ko..kakahiya pero pakialam ba nila. I paid for my tix...and I'm happy with what I'm doin'. WAH!It's really great to express what you feel inside. hahaha. Later on after the game, we talked to John and I talagang "talk" yun coz we asked him a lot of questions, ryt Alen? Alen was there, too coz she's interested to see something. Unfortunately, she didn't. lol.

Sept 19 vs. Alaska
I did another ridiculous thing just to watch this game. haha!basta pero its legal noh?still, I'm happy with what happened on that day. Daming kilig moments talaga. We lost that game but the Tigers fought hard..and I can feel that there's something positive happening in the team. Coke played well on the last two games considering the fact that JA didn't play. If JA would have played that game. we would have won it!lol. But ofcourse, we'll reserve it on the AFC. Ang yabang! We might have lost that game, still..it doesn't matter coz someone stole the show from them. wah! I love it when the crowd was going crazy over JA. Kakatuwa talaga! I'll probably make a separate entry for that. Ur the man, big bro!lolAfter the game, we had a chance to talk to Kuya JM and Kuya Ken. Thanks poh for being so accommodating and friendly.

Sept 24 vs. RedBull
I won't be able to watch this game because I'm taking a break from work. It's my time to spend quality time with my family which I miss so badly! It's been a while since I saw them and hug them. It's sad coz I won't be able to see someone who I have learned to appreciate despite other people's criticisms. It's sad that I won't be able to watch the game on Monday considering that John might play...but it's okay. I can still watch during the actual games in Araneta....

I know that everyone is excited already to see John and the Tigers in the coming PBA Cup. I have a good news for you, the PBA is I think bringing back the three-tournament format which means, we'll be able to see JA more.
