There is this guy who's beginning to catch my attention...actually, nakuha na nya ang attention ko. Ewan ko ba, he's super cute kc..though he's a little chubby. It's my first time to have a crush on a chubby guy coz most of the time, I appreciate tall men. At first, I don't want him because of what I heard about him..bad record..but sum1 was right...give him the benefit of the doubt. E di bigyan, malakas ka sa akin eh...lol. Nowadays, this guy is giving me another reason to smile. But of course, I know my limits and he will just be my second priority.

Coke vs. SLR!
I watched Coke game against the SLR. JA didn't play that much but he did a great job spoiling Kelly Williams. Great defense! Actually, it was a show by Duremdes, Calimag and Alex Cabagnot. Yeah! they played very well against their former team. They were playing like what JA and Ali were doing against the Aces. La lang..maybe they just want to prove something.. There memorable scenes in that games that I want to share..First, the assist made by Cabagnot to Varem. Geez...he made it again like last last game. Sayang, hindi lang inabutan ng video. Second, the Cabagnot-Miranda duel...hehe..esel read this. Alex was holding the ball and then he took and made a shot! however, he fell to the court and nilinis lang naman nya ung floor..hehe. The refs did not call any foul so he run and faced Denoc. While, Denoc was dribbling, he was like shouting "come on, shoot the ball" OHHHHHHH...I smell something..well, I guess, it'sjust normal. Finally, during the last minute of the fourth quarter, Alex went out and Pacana entered. We were like clapping to show appreciation for Alex performance. He then shook hands with his teammates..and then hugged JA. Ang swit! Parang gusto kong makuha seeing them. Parang close na talga cla. In JA's entire carreer, I only saw him hugging Ali and Alex is the second one. I hope their chemistry on court will continue to blossom for the team's sake. Naalala ko na naman what JA had told me during my birthday that we should support Alex, too. Kumusta naman, big bro!
I'm happy na rin that JA is with the Tigers now..imagine, he's still playing with Ali and then Kenneth, his former teammate in Aces. Isn't it great to see a Coca Cola Tigers-Alaska Aces championship. I'm sure, it would be full of emotions and feelings. Sa akin na lang eh, feeling ko maiiyak ako when that thing happens. I will be very emotional because all the memories will be coming back. And with a great pointguard like Alex, winning is not impossible.

(last last week pa to after the election)
I'm back to doom!Well, it means Im back here in the office with all the "negas" and all. Ofcourse, there are also positive things to be happy..like seeing my morning officemates. Well, morning lang although there are few in the afternoon. Again, "FEW." I think this entry will be long coz I have a lot of things to talk about. Yeah, a lot!
Let's start everything with the game last Sunday. Actually, I was with my bestfriend, Tere when I watched the game. JA gave us tix as always. Bait talaga ni Mr. Nike. As early as 1pm, we're already in AC but we stayed first in MsDonalds. You know, I missed my bestfriend so much that's why as much as possible I wanted to hear her stories and also shared the happenings in my life. After that, around 2:30pm, I decided to check if JA has already arrived in SG. Too bad, JA went inside already. Sayang, I was planning pa naman to give some words of encouragement for the game. They will go up against Aces and I know that its a very important game. Sayang talaga! Since it's still early to enter AC and more importantly, we don't have tix yet, we went to KFC and had another set of chikahan. Around 3:40, we went to green gate and waited for the tix.
The game was about to start when we got inside. Gosh! we'll occupy the front part na naman. We might get seen on tv because we're fronting the camera. I hate this feeling! Then the game started..the Aces led most of the game. But I don't really care about that. I was more concerned with JA who had a mild sprain before the half ended. How many times do I have to say that I don't wanna see him down on the floor nursing an injury and worst, no foul called against the culprit! Ref, DO YOUR JOB!During the half, a lot of my friends were asking me how's JA, but I can't give info because there were no updates in the venue. They gave updates on TV of course. Then the players entered the court again and I saw JA walking. Atleast it's a good sign that he can walk. I even doubted when I saw him just sitting rather than practicing. But after some seconds, he picked up the ball and took a shot! Good sign I said to myself. Then the game started again and JA played. I was really impressed because even if I knew that he had an injury, he was still playing defense against Willie Miller. Then my friend texted me and she said that according to report JA had a mild sprain and he said that small things like this cannot stop him from doing his job! I was a bit relieved because atleast it's just a mild injury. One more thing, I was so proud of him because he's so professional.
As the third quarter ends, again, we felt uneasy because Ja was holding his hamstring. OMG! that was what he's holding during the BGK game. Ano ba yan! JA went to the bench and took a rest. By fourth quarter, game was still on the Aces side, that's why we're still nervous. Eto pang c Varem, parang very hesitant. Hay..kumusta naman. But towards the 6 minute mark, the Tigers rallied back. It all started with Will's tree-pointer. And then Ali and Varem controlled the rebounds. It was also the time, Alex Cabagnot hit some treys. Basta..I'm so damn happy! The feeling was so overwelming and I begun thinking that we would have won the Air21 game if Alex was there. Then the big shot came. John was holding the ball against Willie and then he immediately passed the ball to Alex who have a better position to pass the ball to Varem. And the result was a powerful SUPER SLAM! Damn! ASTIG talaga! We were like "WHAT!" All of us were standing and shouting for that dunk. Grabeh! Kahit ata BGK fans napasigaw when they saw that dunk. He also made the freethrow that brought back the lead to 4. After that sequence, Alaska made a basket and they put pressure on Coke. But Coke has nothing to worry coz the ARSENAL was there to save the day for us. Right John? When it was Aces' turn to shoot again, Alex stole the ball from Miller and made a basket. That basket sealed the victory for us.
After the game, I told my friends, good thing that we don't use our voice while voting or else I couldn't vote the following day.
In SG, we had the chance to see Kenneth Duremdes. We just smiled and he also smiled on us. When Ja came out, we talked to him and then I asked him about the injury. He said that he's doing well and it's just a mild injury and he just had crumps during the third quarter. He also told me a lot of things..sorry..I can't mention all of them. But trust me, JA is fine. One thing that I hated that night was those kids asking things from JA. They always do that. Grrrrrrr....But that night was destined to mine..lol. When he was about to say goodbye, we had a handshake and he handed his armband to my hand. OMG! hahaha! It was really a nice gift. It was still wet because that was the armband that he used in the game.
When they left, we waited for another player. Again, I won't mention his name. Some of my closest friends in Arriba know him. This is to hide his identity.lol. But then again, when I thought that he's gone already, it was the time that I saw him. What do you call that? Is it destiny? lol. That night, on our way to green gate, we saw Joeyoe with his friends. Then we also saw Alex Cabagnot. I wanted to have his autograph but I don't have a paper. What I only had during that time is the book, The Little Prince. So what I did was I got my pen and let him signed at the last page of the book. I couldn't forget my little prince..oh should I say "chubby" prince..wahaha.
Finally, everything is confirmed already. Dirk is the NBA MVP for this season. You deserve it man. Although, Dallas did not make it to the next round, still Dirk is the MVP for me. Kaya nga, may regular season MVP and Finals MVP eh. I don't know why there are people making a big fuzz about it. They're just insecure! I know, Dallas will bounce back next year. The past two years have been painful for them and I think they will have these as their motivation. Go DIRK! GO MAVS! Sayang tuloy coz I can't wear my Nowitzki jersey.lol.
Last May 14, I voted for the second time. yeah! and I to tell you frankly, I voted only one senator. Yup, that's not a joke! I have been vocal about him and I truly believe that he deserves my vote. I believe in his principles and I'm so damn proud of him because he's not an administration's pet. These days, his ranking only falls under 1 & 2. Well, I don't really expect him to top the election but if GOD will give it to him, I think that's a blessing. Kakatuwa lang coz I know his wife is pregnant..twin daw. WOW! ang saya nun! Blessing talaga. Imagine, one of the topnotchers in the election and a father-to be to a twin. Congrats CHIZ!

JA in BAGUIO
The Allstar teams stayed in Camp John Hay throughout the event. According to John, his roommate was Mick Pennissi of RedBull Barako who participated in the Shooting Stars in La Union. During our first visit, it was evident that JA was really tired. Still, he met us in the hotel's lobby for some conversation. There, Angelie finally met John and able to talk to him. He was wearing a Nike sneakers, jeans, (finally saw him wearing jeans..lol) and ofcourse his Flight jacket..opps..not to forget his earing on his left ear. He really looks good in that outfit even if he's tired. We talked a lot of things there..the game, the event, the gymnasium (peace!), his teammates..etc. Til we talked about this very critical issue that I would like to keep to myself. Basta, whatever happens, we'll CHOOSE JA! We also talked about the tree that he planted in La Union and other activities where he participated. He said that it was really tiring because there's a lot of activities and ofcourse the trip was so long. Imagine, they left for La Union last Wednesday..they had a game last Tuesday pa pala..kumusta naman. But Im sure he had fun! Ofcourse we took pictures with him. Xempre, I wore the jersey that I bought and gosH! he remembered that it was the jersey that I asked him to sign last year. He even hold it..waaaaaaaa..and looked for his signature. I also asked him to sign the shirt that we bought in the gym. I even told him that he would be the only player to sign that shirt coz he's the real Allstar for me. Hay..I was really sleepy during that time that's why I couldn't think of better words to say.lol. Then picture taking na..wahahha..The next morning, we went again to Camp John Hay to give his "pasalubong" to ate Kara. He couldn't go down like other players that's we just bought him some foods. At the front of the hotel, we saw him seating, we approached him and he asked us about our hotel. Then, Mark Caguioa joined and chatted with us. He even joked around about their _o_c_ hahaha..Nice one Mark! I admit I thought he's really mayabang but he's not. Infact, he's so cool!hhaha. We even had pictures with him and John. Sayang! kc Jayjay would have joined with us but he's talking to Kelly Williams. After few minutes, Mark left and another familiar player went to the hotel. It was Jay Washington. To my delight, I thought that ih JWash was there, there's a possibility that other sophs were there too including Chubz..lol. Guess nyo na lang un.hehe. Then, OMG! he's there nga.waaaaaaaaa..I wanna faint! and guess what he's approaching JA. Basta, I felt cold and just............ EWAN! Few minutes past, and JA had to leave na. She rode on the North bus. Xa lang player dun. Haha. Kakatuwa lang kc he has a lot of space to sleep in..But before he said goodble, he thanked us and I told him "see you tomorrow in Moro." Esel and some other friends will be visiting him there again.Actually, Allstars in Baguio was a mixed of happiness and sadness for me. Happiness, coz I wan't able to go to Baguio for the first time, I conquerred my fear, I was able to see and support Mr. Nike, saw Chubz, meet Angelie...BUT...sadness, because I discovered a lot of things why I should support him more. The things I saw were kind a saddening but in spite of these, I realized that JA's such a REAL person. I love him for that! wah!

ALLSTARS in BAGUIO
That Allstars Baguio experience was really great! I was very thankful to my officemates that they push me to go to Baguio and watch the game there. Thanks a lot girls! and ofcourse to my parents who allowed me to visit the place and support JA! There's nothign special than going to a certain place with permission coming from your parents. Kumbaga, ang sarap sa loob na umalis ka..hindi tumakas!
We arrived in Baguio around 2pm and Angelie, my Arriba pal met us there in the terminal. We went directly to UB to make sure that we can get tickets. Still, we had to wait for JA before the game to get Jason's tix and ofcourse to say hello na rin to him. We waited outside for 30 minutes or more. We saw some players from the South first like Thoss, Hontiveros, and even Mick Pennissi. We also saw Coach Jong and his son. Then, finally, the North bus arrived and we're excited to see JA.Xempre, he's the reason why we're there noh.I stood and looked starting from the driver but I did not saw John. Until at the very end seat of the bus where he was seating. I immediately waived and he recognized us. He smiled on us..OMG! He was wearing his big headset again. Since there were a lot of people lined up in front of us, we had a hard time seeing him but he approached and gave the ticket to Jason. Nagtaka tuloy ung ibang andun kung bkit may iniabot na tix c JA sa kanya.lol. After that, me and Angelie went inside using the other entrance and Jason's went in through the EXIT because his tix was for the stage.
The players were introduced starting with the South Team. Their entry was really COOL! Ang saya! Jimmy Alapag was so cool doing some dance moves..even ronald tubid did some taktak..haha..also Sonny Thoss who seems to be very shy also did. Pati cna Danny Seigle, Asi taulava, Daddy James (lol), Roger Yap, Don2, and others. But for me, the one who stole the show was Tony dela Cruz..he was really funny! Even John was laughing when he saw that dance move later in the game.
Kung gaano kasaya ung entry ng South, the North entry was kind a BORING! They just introduced the names of the players and awarded everyone a medal. hay..kung wala lang talga dun c JA naku...What's great is that the North bench is near us. We really shouted and cheered for John even if I don't really expect a lot of minutes in the court. I have this feeling kc.. He got 4pts in the second quarter..in the second half..he did not pay or should I say..HE was not asked to play! but it's okay...as long as JA is there, no one can stop us from cheering. What's great was there were a lot of people shouting his name and asking for his autograph. It only means that he has a lot of fans in Baguio..not only girls but men...real men!
The game was pretty exciting because at first the South team was leading by as much as 20pts and yet the North made a move in the second quarter and eventually won the game. Jayjay Helterbrand and Willie Miller won the MVP. Should I say, it should have been Jayjay only, right Rubz? haha. Bkit nga kaya? I was there I witnessed everything..pero I really feel that Jayjay should have won it alone. Kung may makakatie man sya, dapat si Kirby! After the game, the trophy was awarded and immediately JA went outside coz the court. Xempre, I was just wondering if he gave his armband..When will I have that armband? D bale, naybe next time, I can have the courage to ask his armband. Outside the gym, we met Jason and he told us that JA told him that he'll meet us in Camp JOHN Hay. So we immediately rode on a taxi to go there. It's a good thing Angie was with us..She knows the place well. We waited at the lobby til we found out that they're occupying the rooms on the other side, so dumaan kami sa back king saan we saw Coach Cone and her wife. We sat for a while and then JA came...(our conversation with him will be included in another entry). After that, we had to go down and look for a hotel. Then, we ate in Chowking before we slept. Ofcourse, there were also chikahan..dami, I couldn't remember all..but some of them are personal and better to be kept.
In the morning, we had breakfast and we also went to the market to but pasalubong. Hay..and daming fuds! kakagutom. I bought some pasalubong for my parents, friends and officemates. Then, we went to Burnham Park to relax and take some pictures. Then, Jason and Angelie went back to the market to buy John something for Ate Kara. So sweet! After that, we went back to Camp JOHN Hay to give him his pasalubong. We left the hotel after JA left , but before he left I told him that we'll visit Moro tomorrow since it's holiday. Then, we had lunch in SM Baguio and then went home. I arrived in Manila around 1130pm. It was tiring but it was a great experience! GRABEH!
